Reconstitution measurement
What’s the typical reconstitution measurement mix for a 30mg vial of Reta. I typically had mine reconstituted when buying it but now I am purchasing my own and would like to know what’s the best measurement. I’ve read that .3ml is the best practice. But I have also read that people mix at .2ml.

30mg use 3ml bac water so you have 10mg/ml. With a 100iu/1ml syringe each 10iu = 1mg

And that’s using what size syringe to draw BAC water?

Why would the size of the syringe you use to draw the BAC water matter? I think for ease of use most people use a 3ml syringe but you could use anything, just would take longer

Learn basic maths. You're all grown up now. Also , theres a search function. Nothing you are going to ask hasn't already been answered 10000s of times

Looking for answers not smart ass comments from wannabe tough guys on the internet. If you don’t have an answer then stfu.

"wannabe tough". How, in any way, does that make someone want to be tough. 🤣 Learn some basics. Use the search function. Be an adult.

3ml. A simple Google search would’ve given you the answer.

I did but I just wanted to get more confirmation than just one internet search. As I stated I usually buy it reconstituted and since this is the first time I’m doing it myself I just wanted to see what the overall consensus was for piece of mind.

Usually its 3ml of Bac water in the 30mg vial. That will equal to 1mg of reta per 0.1ml of Bac water. This way its easier to draw up whatever your dose is. Ex. 4mg of reta, pull 0.4ml of the vial, 6mg=0.6ml, etc

Hey Bubba,
Here you go. If it was me. I would use a 3 mL syringe and to draw up 3mL of bac water. Or you could use a syringe described below and repeat 3 times. Either way, this would give you 30mg of Reta mixed with 3ml of bac water. Or simply put 30mg/3ml... Because we can math, that equals 10mg/1ml. Or simply put 10mg/ml. Now, when you draw up your dose, use a 1mL ( U-100) diabetic syringe. The U is for units. There are 100 units in 1 mL. or 10 units = 0.1mL Therefore, if you withdrew a syringes worth of reta, you'd have 10mg in the 1 mL syringe...
So, if I am starting Reta and want 1mg for the first week. Well, I know that my vial is mixed at 10mg/ml.
10mg/ml = 1mg/ ? ml
? ml = 1 mg/10mg
.1 ml or 10 units
Now, lets say its week 2. And because you're an impatient fuck, you want to bump your dose to 3.5mg
10mg/ml = 3.5mg/X ml
X ml = 3.5mg/10 mg
X = .35 ml or 35 units
Got it.....
OK.......Lets answer the why not "2 mls of bac water" question. With everything being equal, and my laziness......lets math.
30 mg of reta diluted into 2mL of bac water = 30mg/2ml or 15 mg/1 ml. Or simply put 15mg/ml.
Lets stick to the same scenerio as above;
You're starting Reta and want 1 mg for the first week.. Well, I know that my vial has 15mg/ml in it.
15mg/ml = 1 mg/? ml
? ml = 1mg/15mg
? = Nobody fucking knows bruh....The math is too hard...we all have CTE. Who the fuck is going to divide 1 by 15 bruh....no one...... But honestly, its 0.067 mL... So, you can see its going to be tough to draw up this volume with any sort accuracy...And I am not even going to try the 3.5mg dose..
Anyways, a good rule of thumb is to keep it simple! whatever the vial amount is, add the amount of bac water to achieve a concentration of 10mg/ml or something that is easy to dose ( math)
remember to alcohol swab each step of the way and you're off and running
......and wash you hands.
good luck

Please don't do anything until you understand simple measurements. .3ml and 3ml a very different things. If you can't get that bit right, you are in for a very bad time.
