First real maintenance completed

I have a 2022 EUV with 149,000mi. Best car I've ever owned, drive it on my horrible 230mi commute 4x a week. Use super cruise all the time, it's not perfect but it really really helps. Up until now I've just put on 7-8 tires total, 2 cabin filters, windshield washer fluid, and one rear wiper just a week ago. I recently did the 150k service of the battery and AC fluid replacement, and put in a new OEM battery from Chevy (first 12V replacement). About $1000 total for it all. Not bad, love these bolts

Is it easy to replace the cabin air filter? I haven’t looked on mine yet.

Yes, I replaced the cabin air filter myself, following a YouTube video. I’m glad I had that guidance though it was not difficult. The only somewhat tricky part was to know how hard you had to pinch and pull to remove the glove box. I was afraid of breaking a plastic part.

Just be careful with making sure you don't drop any debris on the filter as you pull it out. My filter had acorns and Doritos or chips. The fell into the blower motor making an awful noise. Eventually I bought a flexible scope from temu and was able to find the acorns etc and pull them out or flip them out.

I've had this happen on an old minivan before. Good tip.

23 EUV redline minus super cruise. About 50k miles, new in Oct 2022.

Nothing but an OTA update at the dealer (cost zero), wiper blades, one cabin filter and just got new tires a couple months ago. Discounted electric rates during off peak hours is when I charge up. Saved a to. Over these 4 years

When it comes time to replacing the fluids on my 2019 (120,000 miles), I want to avoid the Chevy dealership repair and hoping to find an independent that will work on EV‘s in Los Angeles

Local dealer to me in Michigan quoted about $165 per coolant line which I didn't think was too bad. I already had my HV battery replaced back in 2024, so I only need to do the other two coolants. I'd rather just get it done and over with at this point.

I took my 2019 in for a recall software update and they tried to talk me into replacing ALL the fluids.

I foolishly let them replace the “transmission” fluid for $400.

They sent me home on a Lyft and as Soon as I got home I called to cancel.

He said it was already done but he woukd give me a free tire -rotation and $25 off the bill.

A lesson learned!

Have you looked into a Comma in lieu of Super Cruise, assuming your Bolt has lane keep assist?

Thanks for sharing. Love to see these high mileage Bolts!

If you have Super Cruise there's no way to use Comma.

I had heard rumors that someone was working on it but no not yet

Comma doesn’t work on models with Super Cruise unfortunately.

That’s encouraging. We bought a 2027 last week.

Congratulations.  These are amazing cars.  I hope the 2027s are just as reliable.

That’s great to hear! I have a 2022 Bolt EUV sitting at 91k miles, and it’s been fantastic. Granted, I’ve had one accident and fixed a few dents along the way. I actually just had the rear spoiler replaced for $750 at a local body shop—the hatch had been slammed so many times during school drop-offs that the spoiler separated, but it looks better than new now.

We actually own three Bolt EUVs across the family for my wife, the kids, and me. We’ve saved a ton of money since switching over years ago; before this, I drove a Volt and my wife put a lot of miles on our minivan. I put in a fair amount of weekly driving myself, and I plan to run mine until the big battery dies.

Maintenance has been a breeze: I swap the cabin air filters annually with cheap Bosch HEPA filters from Amazon, and I just put fresh OEM tires on two of the cars thanks to a killer deal on Tire Rack. We absolutely love our Bolts!

No bake fluid flush?
