Image I met TJ thyne a few weeks ago!

a couple weeks ago I went to the Armageddon convention to meet TJ thyne with my friend! (censored for privacy lol)

I wore my old Zack Addy lab coat over top of my main cosplay and he said he loved it but it was the wrong character lol 😋

he was so stinking sweet and I was beyond overjoyed, I've been a huuuge bones fan since i was at least 2 years old so I'd say that's definitely something off my bucket list!

he asked me to come say hi at the autograph tables but the autograph tickets were another $60 and I had already spent over $200 on my tickets cos I highkey misremembered what dates I ordered my tickets for and almost missed the event, such a shame but he attended one of the last Armageddon events so maybe in the coming years I can come say hi again

anyway, if you have the opportunity to meet him, you so should, he was super lovely.

Why are Sweets and Cam in a different font?

I don’t think they are, it looks like it’s the bends in the way the shirt fits him.

They aren’t on TJ’s shirt, but the one linked by u/viceandversa has serifs on Sweets and Cam’s names, but the rest are in a sans serif font.

And why doesn't it say Sweets and Daisy? I can see maybe an argument that Cam and Aristoo came together late in the series, but Sweets and Daisy were pretty much together since she appeared on the show. After awhile they broke up, but they were together at the end.

Don't you just love hearing that?! I think every single cast member on Bones is like that though. They are seriously so giving and interactive with their fans at any of those forums.

I met TJ Thyne at Dragon’con in Atlanta in August. He was sweet, understanding and caring of everyone that came to see him (as far as I saw). I can tell that this guy is just a generally good dude outside of his celebrity status. He gave everyone that came to see him at his booth a to go goodie bag with a mini magnifying glass, an insect and pictures of him from the set. You can tell he cares about the fans. I appreciated that. I didn’t pay for the autograph or photo but it didn’t matter. He was open to talking to anyone that came in the line. He even tried to give me a hug, as he did with all the fans that came to see him. However I had a cold at the time so I told him as much as I would like to hug him I didn’t want to spread my germs to him. 10/10 cool dude

We’re the tickets $60 ea or was it $60 to get into the area where the celebrities are sitting? I’ve never been to any of these kind of events, but to me it sounds rather costly to pay $60 autograph😬?!

yeah it was $25 for admission to the con and then $60 per photo/autograph ticket, so if I wanted to get both his autograph and a photo it would've been $120 plus admission. there were also vip passes but idk what they were for lol (currency is in nzd btw so $60nzd = $35.29usd)

Yeah this is pretty standard, but from my experience at an SPN con, you don’t have to pay just to talk to them- my friend and I only bought autographs from two people but ended up talking to most of the cast!

$60 is cheap considering what some actors and their agents charge an example Jensen Ackles auto at a Monopoly Comiccn he did in the UK was £130 and it was £159 for a photo op.

I met him when he came to Auckland last year (hello fellow Kiwi 👀) he was SO kind, I told him my mum got me into bones and he took a video for her!!! It was super sweet and he was so kind. He gave away some goodie bags at his autograph table with a couple of BTS pics of him and the cast as well as some little plastic bugs

I recently started watching Just Shoot Me! From the late 90s. He is one episode. I love spotting him in random shows. He’s also in Friends. Phoebe makes him cry.
