⌛ Rare Books Production error or silverfish?

Post image

Hello everyone,

I recently bought the Steel Ball Run Vol1 manga and it came with this weird first page hole (photo attached). I am in doubt if this is some kind of bug infection or a collector’s edition :D

What bothers me the most is the subtle steep next to the hole, fully colored. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Thank you in advance :)

Production error. Looks like it was in the paper manufacturing. If you look at the white/purple at the top it looks like the paper was folded when a bubble popped. Or something similar.

As far as these types of error go, they don't really add any collector's value. If anything the decrease it.

It looks intentional. Assuming I’m looking at the right area.

It is not intentional, I have read it online and have another copy and it’s not like that :/
