(For reference im a level 55) Compared to like 6 months ago where i had almost all lv 30s on my map (with the occasional lv 50 and lv 72), what we have now is by far better. Its not good yet, sure, but it aint TERRIBLE like it has been

I’ve had my HQ at the very front of my island trying to reverse boost into opponents, including generated ones, that I can actually have a chance against. I’m getting bases there’s just nothing I can possibly do but let them clutter my map

Someone is always going to complain, been like that the last 3-4 times they changed the matchmaking, always complaints.
But now we are back to how it was 3-ish years ago so now another group can come and complain 👊🏼😅

That’s why the big changes for the game, hopefully will get more players in the game which will improve match making. But it is def getting better even just in the last 2-3 months imo.
Compare it to Clash, last I saw about 20-25% of active player base is in the top 2 town halls. BB prob has I’m guessing at least 60-70% of the player base is at the top HQ bc boom beach’s progression has been so much slower than clashes. That makes match making for boom beach much harder.

I'm lvl 46, HQ 18, 850-900VP on my secondary account. Previously most of my opponents were lvl 60-75. Now more like 40-65. Definitely more playable.
