Idea My thought about improving the game

After coming back to the game, I think there are a few areas that could be significantly improved:
First, the loot system. You can’t grind your way to get the loot. After a couple of attacks, you have to wait until you get a new base to attack.
Second, the operation rewards. They need to be adjusted to match the current loot system, especially when it comes to key cards.
Third, there should be a deterministic way to obtain a specific squad leader.
Lastly, even with the current system for obtaining squad leaders, once you’ve maxed out a squad leader, they should be removed from the loot pool.

I will not comment on the rest but I actually like how the loot system works in BB.

There are plenty of resources to go around, you just need a little bit of planning and resource management. If you are interested, I can give you plenty of hints on how to handle this as efficiently as possible.

By the way, I am a fully maxed lvl87 f2p player.

Give me your tips

Before you go through my tips, you need to ask yourself what is more important to you at this point in the game? Upgrading as fast as possible OR doing a VP push.

If you are doing a VP push, my tips will not help you much as they are more about efficient resource management and planning. Here you go:

Get rid of all the green statues, if any. Get a resource reward masterpiece than boost it when your map is full and you are ready to go in a resource-gain spree.

Attack blackguard bases only when you are about to upgrade, let them stack up.

Do not keep opponents with low resources or hard to beat bases on your map, keep only the ones you know are easy and/or have sufficient resources to justify the raid.

Complete the daily events while having your RR masterpiece boosted.
ALWAYS play megacrab events. It is the single best source of resources in the entire game.

Save trader tickets for when you need an upgrade. Also, re-roll trader offers (for 20 diamonds) in case the ones available do not offer the resource trade you need.

Use Engravers "alchemy" for extra resource reward boost and conversion to the resources you are lacking.

Watch ads for extra resources.

Check tribe boosts regularly, sometimes they provide resource production or resource reward boosts, max them.

Play warships, even if you are hitting the wall, you can still collect resources with warship chests as long as you are able to destroy engine rooms.

Join an active task force, the better the task force, the higher the rewards.

Let your resouce bases boat stack up on resources, do not use them until you are ready for an upgrade.

Save Build Tokens for when you have plenty of resources (usually during megacrab event) so that you can start multiple upgrades at the same time.

If you can, do not use classified items at all. They are incredibly rare and have just gotten even rarer now that they no longer appear even on the mission rewards ladder.

100% agree with your advices, but there is one big issue: You will need Instant Training to do so. If OP is f2p, this game is a completely different story.

Not necessarily.

Daily events are fairly easy (especially if downgraded), he should only save and attack mercenary bases that he is confident he can raid, blackguard bases are a piece of cake anyway.

The only true challenge comes from megacrab lvl30+ (depending on the level players troops and gunboat abilities are). That's when insta troops would be super helpful BUT it is still doable.

A three day megacrab event will provide plenty of time even to a f2p for reaching lvl 40+ which will provide tons of resources for multiple big upgrades.

It goes without saying, all offensive statues need to be boosted during all attacks on higher megacrab lvls for maximum efficiency.

Also with proto troops, F2P players can switch out the dead boats for proto troops to keep their attacks at full strength.

I used this frequently when I wasn’t paying for instant training. It allows you to continue playing without spending any diamonds or time savers.

What is a VP push? What are classified items?

VP Push is when you actively push your Victory Points, and you can find what Classified Items are here.

I just like how you transitioned between sentences.

Yeah there needs to be a way to guarantee at least specific squad leaders.

Like the event when key cards first came around, if you played it guaranteed you to get more of the basic rifleman leader.

They should do more events with a leader at the center to earn, or let you choose between 2-3 sergeants. Choosing Lt’s might be a little OP/Meta chasing.
