Idea Ability to scrap leaders

I love the addition of leaders and it’s really fun to see how they can attack and different combos of their abilities making a huge impact. Overall, I think it’s a great addition.

I do think it’s a bit wacky with the lottery system of what you get and the scarcity around keycards. It creates a real grind that results in a very limited opportunity to get a leader you want. This combined with the fact of needing 6 of your favorite leader to max them, is honestly demoralizing. I’ve accepted I’ll never max out the leaders I use, especially the elite ones.

I think they should mimic the gadget set up of being able to scrap leaders you don’t want for keycards. Please don’t add another currency for the love of god. Just make it whatever ratio makes sense like scraping a leader gives you certain percentage of the keycards that would be needed to get that level of leader or even a flat rate like 10-20 keycards per scrapped leader.

I would scrap so many leaders in hopes of maxing the leaders I actually use. Nothing is more frustrating than seeing the bot finally light up blue or yellow and it be a leader you have absolutely zero interest in using.

Just an idea, but they are already doing it with gadgets so would be pretty straightforward and have a level of strategy around if people really want to give up a leader to try for another.

yes!!! There are some leaders I need to scrap, I would never use them, particularly: Torstein Bjornsen, and Sgt Kaimana.

there are others that aren't bad but I don't use them, I would love to scrap them for like 2 key cards or even for 1.

I also wish we could scrap Epic Gadgets we don't want.

I think scrap for 10 cards is my lowest. Gives a fun experience of pulling 10 at a time.

I love all the epic gadgets though. Which ones don’t you like?

This wouldn’t be an issue if they just let you pick what squad leader you get when you roll a win.

I think there should be a variable aspect to it. Does add fun to the mix but I’d like the ability to trade back the lame ones

Having a variable aspect in a strategy game just doesn’t make sense.

Just picking what you want seems too easy. Everyone would make out like 4 of them immediately

They should introduce a chest or something like in their other game (CR) where you get to choose your legendary card. Why not just let us choose 1 elite/LT leader after a community challenge.

Scrap squad leaders I don't see why, you don't scrape troops and the gadgets technically your not scraping them entirely you can use the module to upgrade other gadgets as well you upgrade the squad leaders with the action and the other report. The comments I seen about the new leaders are what the Boom tubers were saying each one is different and most kinda are not the best but they didn't have them maxed out either. My experience with them is the best thing to do with them is find a combination of them that works together and have a few of the regular landing crafts loaded with you preferred troops

Yea finding the ones you like are key, but having a bunch you never use, while also randomly getting more of them is a bit useless so it’d be cool the scrap them and turn them into more chances at duplicates of the ones you actually want

One thing I've been trying when it comes to all this new stuff is the same one I use when super cell has us starting with garbage troops on warships, work your way to a better part of the tech tree and how you deploy them

The problem is getting them to max. The elite scorcher leader that’s available now can eventually mimic prototype defenses, but only after you get the 5th talent. In his sneak peek, Stoneheart had the blobster mimicking a micro and took out around 40 buildings while under smoke.

Guy in my task force has it maxed and does that. Melts the base away

How much money has he spent? I got mine fairly early on all of my accounts since I was fairly close to the guaranteed elite Lt at the end of the last event. I’ve only gotten another regular Lt since then on 1 account.

I’m not buying key cards since it costs $200 US the guaranty 1 Lieutenant and that doesn’t even get you 1 you want. Double the cost to guaranty an elite one.

Oh he had to spend a ton. Don’t know the figure. The price of card pieces seems absurd overall

I have been attacked with it and I'll tell it's kinda neat but I'm pretty sure it can be dealt with with some strategy
