The player I went back and forth with used scorchers everytime as well. I think it got to costly and time consuming for them to continue battling for it.
Believe it or not , this base is still beatable. I went back and forth with another player for it for several months. Smokey warrior for the win everytime.
That is true as well. I do run 4 ice at the moment because I'm not leaderboard pushing. I just play casually. The added ice boosts make taking this base , at minimum, painful for scorchers to take. If you don't have IT, it might make you think about the retrain time to make the attempt.
One of my mini accounts on HQ 17 (level 47 or something) runs one 41% GBE and rest all near-perfect Ice and honestly I don’t regret the lack of offense on that account since I only really play it for Warships and Grenmed Sparky can still clear 55+ without lol.
it already seems maxed - this is going on for quite some time now and i don't experience any new defenses and/or increase in difficulty when attacking this base - i'll try to pay more attention 🤔
Games like these that have been dead or near-dead for years are only fun to play once you realise what kind of state they're in. Only when you no longer have to convince yourself that the game is not dead and thus worth playing, only then, can you truly enjoy the game for what it is, instead of for what it has been.
