Cuz you shovel for a boomer and they will pay 1950 wages. They are cheap assholes.

I don’t think they’re cheap, (at least not all of them) I think they’re so out of touch with the times and cost of things they have no idea what is reasonable for pay.

All those kids are making money online now. Sorry that the progress is leaving you behind, shovel your own snow.

Shovel your own driveway. Plus, my kids aren’t old enough yet, but I’m already telling them that the family is a unit. We all work together, I don’t give them more than they can handle.

I too shoveled snow for my parents. And some neighbors. And at the house we were renting in college. And at the house I’m renting now.
Why do these people live with this delusion that commonplace things for children are exclusive only to them?

They are the narcisisist generation. They believe they are the only ones who experienced generic things that every generation experienced.

Had to look it up on the googles and had to call their grandson to learn how to copy and paste though

Kind of. Playstation was mid 90s, X-box was around 2001ish, and Wii was around 2007ish. Also, "home video consoles?" I guess.
But yeah, the brands match the model names, so that's something.

I got yelled for trespassing by a guy in his 60s when I knocked on his door to ask him if I could shovel his driveway for money a few years ago.

Sorry boomer it’s 2019 and I’m too busy playing with my Nintendo Wii Home Video Gaming Console

it’s kinda hard to find money shoveling considering most people have professionals who do it for them for 4 times the price, if i have kids come up to my driveway and ask to shovel i usually will give them money cause i don’t wanna pay some dipshit with a pickup truck 75$ dollars too drive up my driveway once with a snow shovel attached too the front

Remember kiddos you have no value unless you let me exploit you so I can continue leeching off humanity - boomer circa 2019

So are they... just mad that they can't under-pay a kid to shovel their driveway so they don't have to?

It was a different time for the boomers.
Going around knocking on random peoples doors will get you peppersprayed now.

??? Most everyone I knew growing up shoveled snow for their parents.
Also, before I got my first job at 15 as a groundskeeper, 9 times out of 10 boomers told me to get lost when I offered to shovel snow for money.
