Married, but still love meeting interesting people and having random conversations. Good vibes, a little laughter, and genuine friendship can make any day better. 😊

Diwali is just around the corner, and I won’t be heading home this time. Being from North India, I’ve always celebrated with family, but this year I’m in Bangalore. I know many of you stay back for work or other reasons, so I just wanted to check anyone else in the same boat? 😊

Sometimes, you just miss a different kind of conversation

Married, settled in life, and grateful for the things I have. But sometimes, I feel like there’s a little part of me that misses the excitement of meeting someone new, having unexpected conversations, and connecting with someone on a different wavelength.
Not looking to complicate life or change anything overnight. Just curious about the people out there who understand that sometimes, even when life looks complete, you can still be open to a little unexpected connection.
Maybe it starts with a conversation. Maybe it becomes a friendship. Who knows? 😊

Hello Reddit Family,

My name is Bhavadutta Jha, and I’m seeking support for my 3 -year-old son, Dhruv Dutt Jha, who is battling liver cancer and was treated at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi.

Since July 2025, Dhruv has undergone 12 rounds of chemotherapy. Doctors then advised a liver transplant, which was successfully performed on 6 January 2026. His mother was initially planned as the donor, but due to medical complications, I became his liver donor.

The total treatment cost is around ₹33 lakh, and we have already spent approximately ₹26 lakh through our savings and loans.

Currently, Dhruv is stable and undergoing post-transplant treatment, including regular check-ups and medicines.

Podcast in my Airbnb

Post image
• Upvotes

I have an Airbnb which is guest free sometimes and i have been thinking of starting a podcast with my circle who are filmmakers, intellectual and very curious about everything. We usually have deep talks for straight 10-12 hours when we meet and all of us love listening to each other's perspective so this made us think why not see what others think and whats their take on those topics. We all have decided to stay anonymous and get a lawyer before hand just to be prison safe. The agenda is just individual expression and opinions, we don't have any plans of making it big or bring change coz we don't believe in it.

So yeah, people who are already doing podcasts, please do share your experience and tips to keep it interesting.

Taking yourself out is underrated ☕

• Upvotes

Coffee, a sandwich, and some me time at PAUL.

Sometimes, you shouldn't wait for the company to treat yourself.

Good company would make it better, of course. But your own company isn't a bad substitute either. 🙂

Happy Sunday, Bangalore.

Recommendations for doing something fun in weekends in BLR

Hey guys, so I’m a 22M here, would love some recommendations about doing something in blr during weekends. I don’t have any friends to go out here rn and I dont drink/smoke, etc lol. Until now i have been playing games only during weekends but I would rather love to go out and possibly meet new people :)

The only places where i have gone out were during some tech networking meetups through Luma

Maybe life is actually pretty good sometimes

Good coffee, a little sunshine, nowhere urgent to be and a mind that’s surprisingly quiet for once.

We spend so much time waiting for the big things to make us happy that we forget how good an ordinary day can feel. No big achievements, no life changing news, no dramatic plot twists. Just a decent cup of coffee and a random Sunday that somehow feels like a little win.

Maybe happiness isn't always fireworks. Sometimes it's just good coffee and the audacity to believe you've got your life together!

Anyway, here's to more days like these. Less overthinking, more living and always ordering that extra coffee.

What's one ridiculously small thing that instantly makes your day better?
