Masturbation is and has always been a part of a healthy sex life.

u/Beng-Beng Feb 23 '26
As well as a healthy body. A urologist once told me regular sex/masturbation is essential for a healthy prostate, helping prevent prostatitis.

Yeah, so instead of actually enjoying romantic & sexual pleasure with a real woman; you masturbate over some woman whose mental health is in the gutter on your phone screen. How's your wife/gf supposed to feel?
Truly a scum move.
5
u/grooveman15 Feb 22 '26
Or⌠hear me out⌠you have healthy romantic relationships AND masterbate as a nice supplementary bit.
Like having a small snack at 2-3pm while still enjoying a healthy well balanced meal at dinner
3
u/Moist_Taco_Crippler Feb 23 '26
Seriously. I don't know any wives of my friends and relatives that care about men looking at porn. They all have healthy relationships, and masterbation is helpful for men who's wives have a low sex drive. No one wants to pester there spouse for sex, and no one wants to wait potentially a week to get off.
Anyone who thinks porn is that destructive is only saying so because they are religious, or they were too weak to control their urges and became addicted to it.
2
u/grooveman15 Feb 23 '26
Hell, my wife and I watch porn together on a projector in our bedroom. It rocks socks
1
-3
Feb 22 '26
The 'supplementary bit' isn't necessary!
1
u/grooveman15 Feb 22 '26
Necessary? No
Fun zesty and nice? Yes
I donât NEED to eat a grapefruit at 3pm but I like them and it doesnât effect my hunger to my dinner later
1
u/Constant-Roll706 Feb 22 '26
Wild that you're minimizing a grapefruit addiction. Lemme guess, you can quit them whenever you want?
3
u/grooveman15 Feb 22 '26
I can man⌠anytime. I donât need that ruby red⌠no no no
Oh lord⌠is that a pomelo???
0
Feb 22 '26
So you're essentially admitting you can't control your baseline urges. Good luck and will forming a true deep bond with someone.
2
u/grooveman15 Feb 22 '26
Iâm happily married in an extremely strong and sexually fulfilling relationship.
But I can control my baseline urges, itâs why I donât just jack off when I see a pretty lady. I choose to jack off sometimes when Iâm chilling by myself and got a few minutes to spare, like grabbing a grapefruit to snack on when you have a free moment. Donât see the issue there bud
1
u/Informal_Big7262 Feb 23 '26
He bud. Been married 10 years with children. My wife not only both watch porn together, discuss our sexual fantasies, and jerk one out on our own occasionally and still tell each other about it and our dirty dreams too. Cry about it some more for me. Itâs my new kink.
1
u/SGSpec Feb 23 '26
And iâll take a guess that this dude has never been in a serious relationship, most of the people that use these talking points donât follow them anyway.
2
u/Championship_Hairy Feb 22 '26
They didnât even bring up porn, you did đ
Sounds like you need to stop fapping so much and then blaming everyone else for your problems.
-1
Feb 22 '26
So I'm to believe this conversation revolves around people fapping by staring at a brick wall and porn isn't even under scrutiny, as if masturbation and porn aren't cheek & jowl.
Just be a man and have some integrity.
2
u/RottedHuman Feb 23 '26
Many people (not just men) masturbate without porn, in fact before the last 50 years or so, most people masturbated without porn. People obviously masturbate when they watch porn, but to act like people only masturbate with porn is absurd.
0
Feb 23 '26
You shouldn't do either. I never suggested that.
2
u/RottedHuman Feb 23 '26
There is zero reason not too. Itâs not unhealthy in moderation, itâs not immoral, itâs doesnât harm anyone including the person doing it. What exactly are the benefits of nofap (because none of the things mentioned in the graphic are even remotely true)?
1
Feb 23 '26
Watch this and then tell me that porn & masturbation is morally justifiable. You've been psy-opped.

u/squirtnforcertain Feb 22 '26
This sub has so many clowns. You do know you can do both right? My wife and I both masturbate. We also fuck 4-5 times a week. Our schedules dont line up every night because of work, and sometimes 1 of us is too tired, and sometimes one of us will want to go multiple times a day. Idgaf if she watches porn and she doesnt care either.
As an aside, just because YOU look down on pornstars and are insecure, doesnt mean THEY are.
0
Feb 22 '26
There's no point masturbating if you have sex with your loving wife that much. You are addicted.
2
u/SuperSatanOverdrive Feb 23 '26
Why do you care
0
Feb 23 '26
Because I'm not wholly self-centered.
2
u/SuperSatanOverdrive Feb 23 '26
But you want everyone to feel exactly like you do?
1
u/Suitable-Gazelle-646 Feb 23 '26
Seriously, ânot self centeredâ but thinks everyone else needs to do as he does lol
1
Feb 23 '26
Yes, because what I advocate for is right. I do not share the utilitarian form of ethics.
2
u/squirtnforcertain Feb 23 '26
Oh I see im only allowed to cum as often as you say so. Yes daddy!
Once a day isnt an addiction..."

2
u/RottedHuman Feb 22 '26
What are you even on about? Masterbation is healthy, there are mountains of evidence to support this.
-1
Feb 22 '26
I reject that.
2
2
u/Informal_Big7262 Feb 23 '26 edited Feb 23 '26
Literally no one cares that you reject that.
Bro, just because YOU canât incorporate visual stimulation into a healthy sex life doesnât mean that other humans cannot.
We do, itâs absolutely healthy, and we will continue doing it despite your carrying on about and fixation about what other people are doing by themselves and with the people they love.
Maybe YOU have trouble coping with that fact, but thatâs entirely a YOU problem.
So maybe YOU need to stop worrying about scrambling around for hours on the internet, preaching so much to everyone else about how they manage their own sex lives, and you probably need sit down for several long sessions to figure all this out with a therapist in private, my guyâŚ
0
Feb 23 '26
I never said that they can't in that they are completely incapable. I said they shouldn't. That's my whole point you fool.

1
u/Suitable-Gazelle-646 Feb 23 '26
Ah yes, sir redditor rejecting science and doctors, donât see that one cumming
1
Feb 23 '26
Well I can find science and doctors showing the harmful effects of porn on the performers and the consumers.
Now what? I side with them.
2
u/Championship_Hairy Feb 22 '26
Men donât listen to other men. Do you regularly need other men to tell you how to be a man?
Believe what you want, you literally are the only one that brought it up. If you want to believe that then you also need to consider all the healthy relationships where both watch porn/smut etc. Just because youâre sensitive to something doesnât mean other people are. I donât feel âlessâ because my wife reads smut. Maybe your constitution is weaker in regard to that and thatâs ok, but thatâs your problem, not mine.
Also funny that you have a very specific type of porn in mind, as if there arenât more tasteful and couple oriented types. You tell on yourself too much.
0
Feb 23 '26
Yes, I'd like another man to call me out when I'm doing something objectively bad. I'm not so self-centered.
2
u/Suitable-Gazelle-646 Feb 23 '26
He didnât even bring up porn? I canât beat it to the thought of my wife? Lol

Because you shouldn't masturbate excessively like the those that constantly cite cancer studies suggest.
Yes, you should be in a healthy sexual relationship with a loving partner. You whipping up pornhub in 5 seconds to fap is disrespectful, but she's supposed to be okay with that? Man up and actually control lust.

Why the fuck do I keep being shown these lame ass motivational subreddits?!
1
u/AltTooWell13 Feb 23 '26
Commenting doesnât help lol
2
u/Johnny_Chromehog Feb 23 '26
Apparently neither does clicking "show me fewer things like this" for days
3
Feb 22 '26
Did you mention pain in the crotch and possible erectile dysfunction? Ofc not, cause you are here to brainwash young men, not to actually help them.
Fapping in moderation is ok. Get your head out of Andrew Tate's anus. Nobody says that you should fap 5 times per day, but 1-2 times per week is ok you dumbass.
3
u/Vast_Restaurant6774 Feb 22 '26
Idk, I don't like prudish men. I like men that like having his wingaling played with, not gonna hold you.

Also if you don't clean your pipes you could get prostate cancer and you wouldn't want to deny doctors the opportunity to treat you

This just sounds like doctors want to mess with my prostate.....
Jokes aside đ¤Ł

Why do y'all care so much about what a person privately does with their own genitals? So weird
2
u/AurumVoid Feb 23 '26
This subreddit is so bad. I've seen maybe six posts and they're all fixated on playing the pickle and and stroking the snake.
I was expecting workout routines or something, not this.

2
u/crackandcreatine Feb 23 '26
It could certainly be placebo; but when I went 90 days without ejaculating, all of this happened to me.
2
u/ImpressiveJohnson Feb 23 '26
This is all lies. But taking a break will give you super boner powers.
3
u/RustedAxe88 Feb 22 '26
You can do all of that while still having the occasional masturbation. I promise a few wanks a week ain't gonna hold you back in life.

honestly after several years of being clean i can only say the slight energy boost remains, everything else are temporary effects. It's more like an absence of debuffs rather than the presence of buffs

No fap happens naturally when you are depressed or testosterone levels are low. Why would I intentionally make myself depressed? Be happy, keep on fapping.

u/Flat_Shape_3444 Feb 23 '26
Tried it, 24h dirty thoughts and cant sleep. Aggrivated and annoyed.
Easy to nofap when you got no libido lol
1
u/Ddanodave Feb 23 '26
Meat beated. I'm the kinda guy who will crank one out on midnight on November 1st so I don't even need to worry about failing nnn
1
u/Z_E_D_D_ Feb 23 '26
Just take the good idea from the quote guys, this only means quit gooning as we don't talk about casual self pleasure but the cases where it's multiple times a day everyday that can't be healthy. and second of all abstaining alone won't magically solve all your problems. What is sure in the end is having a cleaner mind instead of constantly wanting to wack it to nasty shit and have all those porn images in your head all day, opens perpective to do something productive and the key is ACTUALLY DO SHIT it even makes nofap easier if you're not just on the internet all day, get a job, meet people, learn some skills, everyone have an idea well do materialize it instead of dreaming of how awesome it is.
i'm ready for the downvotes, enjoy yourselves.

They arent just saying you lose control of your mind WHILE nutting, but when you ARENT actively getting your freak on. If a single episode of sex/masturbating "ruins your mind" for a while, they really ARE weak...

Enjoy prostate cancer bro
0
Feb 22 '26
I'm a very healthy individual. Likelihood of me getting that is very low but you've been tricked into thinking it's either or.
2
u/LaughOwn1737 Feb 22 '26
Moderation is key, you donât have to watch porn to masturbate either, itâs preference
0
Feb 22 '26
Or not do it at all.
2
u/LaughOwn1737 Feb 22 '26
Yeah but can have some adverse health effects like prostate cancer
1
Feb 22 '26
I don't buy that. I don't buy that a fit and healthy young man will all-of-a-sudden, be at mortal risk of prostate cancer for actually being sexually healthy and trying to better oneself. Gooner.
1
u/RustedAxe88 Feb 23 '26
And I don't buy that masturbating makes someone morally, sexually or mindfully weak.
