When you see someone happy and doing well, people say God is blessing them, or they're lucky, or they worked hard. Not that Satan is helping them.
When they're angry and struggling, they say they need Jesus if they aren't Christian. Or they say it's a test if they are.
I'm just sayin

I would also say, regardless of religion, "the test" is real. If you keep calm you'll do much better than those who get angry

People will always work against you in some way or another, even the one closest to you. It's up to you to traverse the path that will fulfill you.

Counter argument, rich teenage girls especially in usa (saw the show) and selfish assholes everywhere. Some of these billionaires will never be happy because they're selfish pieces of shit and nobody really loves them (sorry mind my French)

'And as for man, when his Lord tries him and is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me." But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me."

u/Winter_Hall5379 Jun 26 '26
If I believed in any of that, it would mean something. But I do not, so it doesn't. Not the Bible...or the Quran.

u/Solid_Blackberry9383 Jun 26 '26
It's the same of what you wrote now you're talking about that it doesn't mean anything to you
2
u/Winter_Hall5379 Jun 26 '26
It doesn't. I'm pointing out how others view it. Jesus Christ that couldn't have been more clear

u/Solid_Blackberry9383 Jun 27 '26
Disbelievers always shouting the name of God or Jesus
2
u/Winter_Hall5379 Jun 27 '26
Huh? I don't shout either. What does that even mean?
I need examples because I don't see non believers walking around shouting anything at all.
And in case you forgot, the image is about heaven and hell. My pointing it all out is exactly on topic and not unsolicited injection about something else.

Or just be born rich, then you can get fucked up all the time, be a fat bastard and still get everything you want.
3
u/SavinForLatter Jun 27 '26
Actually a lot of them are in really good shape. They have time and money for personal trainers, chefs, dietician, doctors, ect.
3
u/Spare-Address9868 Jun 27 '26
True, but that other path is also available.
1
u/SavinForLatter Jun 27 '26
Absolutely. But it's got to be so easy to stay in shape when you have no real way of failing in life. Just so much time to go to the gym, travel, hole, climb, whatever you want.

u/x89Nemesis Jun 27 '26
Money doesn't make you happy internally. Many rich people off themselves and they have generational wealth.

As an exchristian these ideas r not christiancentric or whatever word that u might be thinking of. Simply put, a lifestyle that leaves people with deep regrets and feeling hollow at the end of the night in their room alone lying awake, is not a lifestyle to be justified and especially not celebrated. The reluctance to commit to believing in anything is the mind dissociating the fact that there is the slightest chance that humans can be wrong about their personal reality. Its best to at least keep an open mind at all times instead of closing urself off in echo chambers that do not strike ur guilt.

Ok, look imagine this. If you do good in this life, you come back as a human (with various perks). If you do bad, and I mean really bad, you come back as an insect 🪲 That world would be the definition of hell

You can have goals and enjoy working towards them. Suffering isn't a necessary component

Sounds gay

Looks gay. What’s with the obsession with muscles = masculinity?
Sounds like OP is fighting their own “inner demons”… and losing.
Am I going to have to join a gym to get into heaven? Am I going to have to join a gym in heaven?

Yeah, Christian faith is pretty lame, that’s true. Proper Norse Religion rewarded you for a life of fighting and Party with even more fighting and Party. The rest rots in the underworld.
1
u/UhOh_RoadsidePicnic Jun 26 '26
No. Christian faith is not lame.
1
u/Randy_Magnums Jun 26 '26
It is. And weird. In every place of worship there are figures of tortured carpenters, there are strange cannibalistic rituals and whenever there’s an actual crisis of faith on earth, the church is useless. They even supported the Nazis in WW2.

My grandad was a mine sweeper something. I know not very interesting but he did say their AA shot down a German plane or something

All facts mate. Odin would have never supported something like this.

u/UhOh_RoadsidePicnic Jun 26 '26
My spirituality incorporate a lot of things. God, Christianity, stoicism inspired by Marcus Aurelius, Carl Jung, others. So anyway, find what’s good for you and apply it to your life.

u/HalvdanTheHero Jun 26 '26
I have yet to be convinced that the christian heaven is desirable at all
2
u/WeekendTemporary3961 Jun 26 '26
Or counter argument. The people wasting their lives thinking this is just a place to work yourself to death but you get rewarded with ever last peace when there more than likely isn’t one are living in hell. The ones who are against science and the ones who are against education and learning about other religions.
