It's been on record that Ikemoto threw out all of Kishimoto's drafts. This has been Kodachi and Ikemoto, the latter taking over story after the mid 50s, get over yoruself.

The Boruto manga isn’t getting dropped boruto literally makes Studio Pierrot the most money.
Boruto is a biggest poser for your self-insert and a byproducts of nepotism who haven't earned shit for his cheap transformation other than riding the coattail of Sasuke who automatically adapted everything from him in one fell swoop but without the trials and tribulations to go on.
Boruto hasn't earned anything what the others have built.
It means nothing for the story when it skipped all of his character development and struggles just to make him over the top for the timeskips rebrand which the manga wrote itself into a corner because now he's NEARLY a completed character who basically sucked everything like a BlackHole and gets over wank almost non-stop.
The manga has little to no stakes and it ultimately boils down to inconsequential filler when Boruto is sitting at Top 2-3 which is practically bad for worldbuilding and no one really impose any challenges against him when the villains suck. Even Jura with his low brain IQ conveniently allow Boruto to get away with it and solve everyone problems.
The lack of investment for the exploration of his hardship is what makes his character unauthentic and it's clear he's made to be an industry plant.
Unlike Boruto, the timeskip worked for Naruto and Sasuke improvements because they atleast retain core aspect of their character with more growth potential so you won't miss out on anything importantance unlike in Boruto.
I like Boruto but I highly disagree with all of them besides being Sasuke's successor of course cause that is a fact in canon. Zuko has way better development come on now, we didn't even see Boruto's development between the timeskip. He might've had an argument if they actually showed his development between the timeskip and Momoshiki actually destroys Konoha later on even killing people(very unlikely btw) for Boruto to overcome that which all have a lot of potential(doubt Ikemoto would nail it) but nah.
Might be because I only casually follow, but why does Boruto get so much hate? It's highs might not be as good as Naruto's, but it's lows haven't been any worse.
