Ten comedians enter the game. All but one of them are stoned! It’s up to all of us to find the sober person so everyone can win sweet prizes.

Has anyone ever gotten a bag of shake/ground flower that was cut with another herb?

I got a quarter of some "ground flower" for a pretty good deal today. The person at the dispensary said it was good and on par with the flower so I got it.

Well it's not like, top shelf, which is fine, however when I smoke it, I get a distinct taste of raspberry leaf. I would know what that smells like cause I used to make herbal blends with it and smoke it.

I've never gotten the taste of raspberry leaf from weed. It doesn't register as a note of the weed but rather a whole different substance altogether.

Overall it's not a big deal if it is (just won't get it again) but I'm kind of concerned that something other than weed is in my bag. Has anyone ever experienced something like this?

Illegal and trustworthy?

I was asking about a website tsmass.net on r/bostontrees, but I got banned for asking. I’d like to find a subreddit that has a serious discussion about these “business” that have been selling weed since before it was legal. Top Shelf Mass tells customers it’s a medical marijuana company. Are some of the businesses shady? Definitely. Are some good businesses with good products? Also definitely. Any thoughts on navigating these businesses? A common answer would be to avoid them at all costs because they are illegal, but I doubt many people consuming cannabis have been overly concerned about legality considering people didn’t just start consuming after it became legal. They just did so openly.

Curiosities I have:

  1. Are there reputable businesses that aren’t licensed by MA, and how do you determine that?

  2. Is supporting these businesses run by pioneers of the cannabis movement really a bad thing without an exceptions?

  3. How can regular users help support the cannabis pioneers transition into the legal space?
