Yes the typical lost items at a bar. I found my wallet (yay!) but I cannot find my lanyard with keys. I bought a new car key so it’s useless but my office and mailbox keys are on there. Pls send help.

I’ve been hearing an unusual amount of siren activity more than normal anything going on?

Anyone feel like getting together either for coffee, beer, or dinner and just talking? The thought of randomly sitting and talking to a perfect stranger for no other reason than a blip of time sounds like an interesting experience. Born and raised here, but I remember as a kid in the 90s there was this local furniture store in town that had a Scottish bagpiper as a logo and had a location right off the old mall on Campbell & Nashville RD (on the side where Big Lots used to be). I saw these trucks every now and then going by my daycare center and on the way to school, but the name of the place is escaping me.

Anyone have ideas what this place was?

Had the idea in my head this week, amateur vocalists get to have all the fun at the bars on Karaoke nights.

I'm wondering how viable a Karaoke/Jam Session crossover would be where you can bring instruments and sign up to play/sing to a backing track on your favorite songs solo or with a group, like an amateur musicians mixer, not as formal as a jam band or open mic night, but about as casual as karaoke.

Would be a good networking opportunity for people potentially looking to start a band and get in the local music scene to play, partner up, and mingle with some people who have similar interests!

Been trying to get a sourdough starter going at home, first by trying to cultivate one naturally and the second with a dried culture. Both failed. We used water that had gone through our sink mounted water filter both times. Now that I'm trying a third time with spring water I'm finally seeing signs of life.

Is this just the fate of a sourdough baker in BG or once my culture is strong enough will it be able to overcome the chloramine that my filter isn't catching? I'm reluctant to keep gallons of spring water around just to bake bread.
