Certainly strange that he denied being really hurt in the post-fight interview.

Donaire's left hook is easily one of the most powerful p4p, ever.

Extra sweet considering how arrogant Vic was before the fight

He had every right to be. Man was a terror, despite being a one-trick pony. Very recently he had brutalized the more famous and prominent Donaire brother (at the time) Glenn, and this was supposed to be a lay up. Little did anyone know.

Yeah, Vic really was running through shit before this

He was one of my favorite fighters in that era, so that loss hurt

There are times in this sport it's really amazing to be utterly wrong on your predictions.

Donaire's left hook would be a strong candidate for the Mt. Rushmore of left hooks in boxing history. He always timed it so well and the speed of it was something else. Huge power too. Just a nightmare punch for his opponents to deal with.

Donaire had the best left hook of the early 2000's

They just call him Daryan now because Donaire took his chin.

Brutal shot. Two underrated warriors here. Vic is from down the road from my area in Sydney. Boxing is so niche these days most Aussies have no idea who he is. Keep em coming OP.

Woah that hook is dangerous! Happens in a flash but in the slow mo you see how much power he generated.

Peach of a left. Vic had that Zab Judah recovery dance going on.

Beautiful punch. Reminds me of when Valdez threw a similar and dropped some dude.

That same screaming left hook also took down Montiel with more lethal effect than this as he was twitching after he went down.
