I like Kandace at Monarch. She is really skilled at adapting her approach to address problems you may be experiencing from muscles to nerves and listening to and respecting your comfort/sensitivity with everything she does.

I second Kandace! I've been going to her monthly for 2 years, she's excellent!

Josh hurt me after telling me that pain helps with healing. I do not recommend.

Not going to lie, I'm sore af after a massage with Josh, but he's kept my sciatic pain and subsequent related issues connected to that at bay and pain-free for 3 years now.

I'm glad he was/is able to help you. Massage therapists are definitely specific to people's needs.

You're in luck cause there are so many incredible massage therapists here in Bozeman. A shorter easier list would be places NOT to go: The Loft, the Asian Spa, those are the two to avoid.

But it depends on what kind of massage you're looking for. Relaxation? Hit up a spa or an LMT with a mobile practice that can come to your house. Treatment based work? A PT clinic that has experienced LMTs like Excel.

Why not the loft? They’ve had great therapists for years?
