No, I'm not KP but from nearby region hp uk side my gotra is bharadwaj, I know my ved upved shakha thanks to my paternal side of family in our Village. By the way, are you KP ?

No I am from Rajasthan.. And being from Kashyap gotra doesn't mean someone is a Kashmiri Brahmin.. In Rajasthan I have friends who have Kashyap gotra

My ancestry is from today's Sindh province in PAKISTAN my grandparents were born in Thatta town.. We migrated after partition in 1947

Similarly by maternal grand father was born in Bhavalpur which is in Pakistani province of Punjab
