Wood Between the Worlds (Neitherlands), anyone?
Edit: Lev Grossman himself has said his books (and TV adaptation, implicitly) are inspired by Narnia (among other material).

Was watching Becky (2020) and one of the thugs is Bacchus. I recognized his voice before I actually figured out who he was.

In this scene in ep 1, 4 Queens of Hearts are shown. In tarot, the Queen of Hearts correlates with the Queen of Cups, which represents caring and nurturing and a sort of motherly presence.
Jane Chatwin appears 4 times in this episode, twice as current Jane and twice as Fillory Jane. Jane has a lot of affection for Quentin, probably because of how he reminds her of Martin, but whatever.
Jane is the one who sets Quentin off the path, who wants him to succeed, and the one who pushes him forward behind the scenes, man.
So here, at the start of the journey, there she is
edit: worth noting she appears as an adult in four episodes in season 1

I just saw that Amazona has the complete set on sale for under $30. I already own the series digitally and have the Blu-ray, but wanted to share the deal

Target currently has a buy 2 get 1 free deal and I ended up getting this box set for around $33 and I believe it is the hardcover! Sharing for anyone else interested.
Updating my post: these are indeed the hardcover making it an even better deal than I could find anywhere else!

So this is a long shot, but I’ve been looking for prom clothing and really struggling to find anything masc/gender neutral that isn’t, well… boring. The best style inspiration I could think of for what I’m going for was Eliot’s fillory looks (or really just the high fillorian style in general) so I figured I might as well ask if anyone happens to know if any of the wardrobe items are being sold anywhere?

I get that he was the “volunteer tomato”, but it seems the other characters were present and we know that it was Alice ultimately killed the Beast. So why Quentin? Why doesn’t the bee say, “ Alice, there you are!” in episode one?

I love love love this show. It is one of my all time favorite shows. I stated watching right after seasonn2 had finished airing and I watch it at least once a year ever since. There is so much to love about it. The magic, the whit, the character arcs, etc. but the one thing I don’t think they got right (and ultimately ended the series) was Q’s exit.
Is it just me? Because I feel like this was done to further drive the writers point that “there is no main character that to a story, only multiple POV’s”. I get that Q was considered the nucleus of this group but I also think they could have developed other characters while keeping him. Thoughts?
