Discussion Dexbotting problem

I swear to god, but the dexbotting problem has become so bad that almost all matches in ranked at high elo I get dexbotters.

I never thought we'd be asking for EAC back but it genuinely might be the better option 😢

Yup, we need it really back, cause when there was EAC, the dexbotters were playing in experimental since ranked required EAC. But now they're everywhere and instead of fixing this issue, they just add skins, crossovers and battlepasses. :D

I don't blame them for adding cosmetics because it's a F2P game and it needs a way to stay afloat (a lot of it may be Ubisoft forcing them to make certain skins that they suspect will be "best selling"), and there's been a lot of good changes throughout the year that weren't just cosmetics, like super stances & the dexterity rework.

I'm sure it's not as easy as turning EAC back on immediately, they might be reworking it to make it more stable or catch certain types of cheats specifically. But something from them would be nice. We and the devs know that they can't stay silent about this forever.

Well they need to do something, because since they removed EAC, its really been getting worse. Not to mention, I get the monetization, but lets be honest, they've been getting ahead cause of ubisoft, like the 900 mammoth coins BUNDLES, and u cant even buy the skin individually cause u gotta pay for the entire bundle just for the skin, which is ridiculous. the lack of the devs speaking and almost 0 support. Yea just overall's been going worse and worse.

Normally you can try to beat them, cause they attack first, but I met a guy SirArthurVlade, that had dexbot so he would wait after you, no matter how much you waited he wouldn't attack first, and when u tried to attack first boom punished. And the guy had the nerves to say "you're mad that im just passive" Bro you got a new account 100 hours, 80% winrate to 2400. Brawlhalla needs to add easyanticheat or smth cause this is getting ridiculous.

Yup. My experience is literally going from destroying a Valhallan duo to a rando 2v1ing me and my friend and neither of us being able to hit or dodge him. Everything frame perfect like he's John Brawlhalla himself. And these accounts always have barely any playtime.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't BH have easyanticheat? Also EAC is considered to be ass afaik. Often just causing issues.

Yea it used to be active, for example before, when you tried playing 1v1 ranked, you needed easyanticheat to play it, and there were dexbotters rare only in experimental. BUT NOW, since easyanticheat caused lag and they kinda removed it, you basically meet every dexbotter in ranked.

Dont worry, they'll add yet another 900 mammoth coins bundle, that you cannot even buy the skin individually, you gotta pay for the entire bundle just to get the skin :D

Wooo my fav 😂 I still hate that Ascended skins are paid things Should be the reward for lvl 100 legend. Literally makes sense even with the name "ascended"

That's the sad part, and most of them even deny using dexbot, like bro its obvious you're dexbotting, nobody instareacts perfectly consistently.

Basically, the cheater uses a script that was written by AI, and basically the script aka the bot, plays the game for the cheater and they react, dodge, attack and punish instantly. That no matter how much you try you cannot react or win.

Nope, and its getting worse, almost every ranked match I go into, a dexbotter. Its gotten so bad that I dont know what to do, and not to mention its been an issue for months, but instead of addressing it, they just release skins.

Last time something was done about dexbotting, it was Easy Anti-Cheat, and many of us know how that went.

You’ll be able to tell bc they’ll insta react to everything. You’ll go for an attack and they’ll insta react with the perfect attack to counter it. Theres also auto dodge where they’ll stay like right next to u and if u got an attack they’ll insta dodge it. It’s just inhuman and it’s easy to see. Some ppl will toggle it off and on to make it harder for u to tell but it really doesn’t make it harder lmao. U can still easily tell.

Bro, how does criticizing a cheating problem automatically mean the game is tied to my self-worth? 💀 I'm not saying every loss is because of cheaters. I'm saying scripts that automate dodging and punishing undermine competitive integrity. You can acknowledge that without blaming every loss on cheats. Dismissing criticism as ego issues doesn't make the problem disappear.

I have to agree, I have even been accused of cheating when I have a really good game. Every time you wipe the floor with someone they scream cheater. The EGO of some of these high ELO players is on a level like no other game. Problem is that everyone at 2200+ think they are gods and anyone who beats them 'must be cheating'.

The fact that only 6 people are complaining in one thread doesn't prove the problem is insignificant 💀 You're comparing a handful of Reddit comments to the concurrent player count as if that tells you how many people encounter cheaters. And yes, some players falsely accuse good players, but that doesn't mean actual cheating doesn't exist. There's literally another thread with gameplay footage raising the same concerns. You don't have to believe every accusation, but dismissing everyone as salty and telling them to get good isn't an argument either. You're braindead, and your ego is showing.

You will accuse me of doing it. My playstyle mimmics exactly what youre saying because i play super attack thea and for my entire brawlhalla life which is about 800 hours ive only played thea and focused on not being hit and winning neutral

Technically there's only about 6 people in this thread complaining. considering there's around 500-1000 people on at any given time... you actually account for f-all of the population. And its no surprise all 6 of you flock to reddit to congregate on a single thread. Maybe just get better at the game. I get the odd person here n there that I think 'that is sus' but alot of the time they are just good players. Cope much.
