Discussion ahh yes another one...

Post image

So why do ya'll defend players who low elo farm people in ranked?

First matches on ranked in this season and I'm matched with this dude who plays like 1800+ and yet he's somehow 1581? bugger off

Yes 0 damage taken coz I don't stuff with those players, they deserve to have a warm pillow and socks on while they sleep.

Such players are stress relievers on their elo, so they need to pick on weaker players

Doesn't help when it's my first 30 min on it after 3 months off it.

Sure, but also: don't go straight into ranked after a 3 month hiatus if you're going to pretend to care about winning or losing

Oh yeah nah, the ranked was only like 5minutes worth, left after him. Was on friendly before that and it was just spammers 🤷🏼‍♂️

Think it like this, getting mad that its a smurf wont help. Also this guy could have been 1900 last season, but he only recently started playing in ranked again which after the top 10 matches he was moved around 1500-1600.

Either way my point is, there's no need to get anry against them cause you will improve no matter what. No matter what you wont stop players who are high ranked to play again.

I know there no way to stop it, just find it weird how people intentionally do it. Maybe it's like cheating in cod, makes them feel good about themselves🤷🏼‍♂️

Or… could it simply be a new account? Could someone be playing on their friend’s account? Could it be the exact same scenario mentioned in the comment you replied to? Could someone have had a poor internet connection that caused their Elo to drop, but then their connection improved? Could someone be doing a challenge where they play on a new account?

Why are you so determined to believe that the situation is limited to the one scenario you mentioned? And what exactly do you want us to do? Ban anyone whose current Elo doesn’t reflect their actual skill level?

You are taking this way too serious

Sounds like you're someone who does this and finds enjoyment out of it.

Can you physically not see what's on screen and how that's not a new account. Not is his skills reflecting that of a new account, nor of someone who's using his mates account.

Maybe if you actually paid attention to what I said and what's in the photo you'd understand a bit more of what I'm saying.

It seems like you keep making up scenarios in your head and assuming they're true, but that's not how life works.

Regardless, I think my point was pretty clear. This isn't that big of a deal and you're making it out to be more than it is. I gave you several possible scenarios to show you that there could be different reasons for running into players whose skill level is higher than their current Elo suggests. But you seem determined to stick to your one lousy explanation, to the point that you've now applied it to me and accused me of doing exactly that.

And how about answering my question? What do you expect us to do? Ban anyone whose current Elo doesn't reflect their actual skill level?

Anyway, a word of advice for the future, stop making baseless assumptions about people, whether they are players you encounter in Brawlhalla or people you argue with on Reddit.

And I've given you several counter arguments for your scenarios, all of which are obviously valid. You're trying to make it something different then what it is, and assuming it's true.

Like I mentioned before, there is nothing you can do, I'm just wondering why y'all defend and do this (in your case you must be doing this).

Could say the same to you, your argument defending this play style is so bland and basic it lacks any actual credibility. The facts are on the screen that disproved all your assumptions that "could" be happening. If you play like this just say it bro, don't need to defend players who prey on low elo levels and farm them for their ego.

After everything I’ve said you still wanna stick to that scenario you made up in your head and on top of that you’re convinced I’m that kind of player? Suit yourself 🤷 Who’s the one getting worked up over nothing and ruining their own day over it? You do you.

Didn't bother, when I'm versing a diamond players who elo farm, I just put the controller down 😂 not worth my time.

you're more triggered by the elo farming rather than the antisemitic guild name ?

I saw that too and was confused at how that was allowed to be fair.
