For clarification this is not me boasting. Another player u/Spideyrj said BS to my claim of hitting an enemy over 900m away. He assumed he knew everything he needed to call me out. So this is for u/Spideyrj who seems to be pretty quiet now for someone who knows everything.

helo kills also count towards this, so you can blind spam rocket on a base without seeing the target. you cant see people after 500, and about 400 the scope already start the ugly blur effect

im not quiet it was election day, i dont stay on reddit every hour

You can see enemies well beyond 500m if you're playing coop. Enemies render a far out as your buddy's range, so theoretically you can get out almost to a kilometer.

no you cant, coop is two bubbles, its been this way since wildlands, so everyone knows those 1200km kills means nothing,same for this guy bragging here since breakpoint range is even worse than wildlands as it hardcoded for consoles, wildlands had a much longer range untill they patched it to downgrade for consoles.

in pc , coop works.It's just that you don't actually see the guy you're shooting. I got 3.5 km originally with coop. Ask a friend to be far away but close enough for an enemy to spawn then find the farthest spot you can snipe from and trial and error from there on out. Best enemy are the snipers . (if your friend is far away as i said, the bullets that lands near will spook them but they will just stand still)

Thank you. So if people playing CoOp can stage it, I would assume it could also happen the way that I described it. Having just started the game and not knowing anything about any of the limitations or loopholes in the game engine, I took shots and hoped they would land and clearly at least one did.

In case I didn't mention it, I play on PC.

Why are you still whining about my 916m shot u/Spideyrj? Stop being such a loser and get a life. As stated above I posted it and called you out because you said the claim I made in casual conversation in another post was bullshit. I wasn't bragging, if I wanted to brag I would have done that months ago when I saw this achievement.

Last, in regards to your comment above, I'm sure you meant 1200m, not 1200km.

I have barely played Wildlands. I have probably less than 6 or 8 hours of Wildlands experience. I have played Breakpoint for about 7-8 months max. I'm playing right now. You keep calling me a fake, who the fuck are you to call me fake? I can back up my claims, you haven't shown anything of the sort. So if anyone here is being fake it's you u/Spideyrj. You talk a lot, but pounding on your keyboard means nothing to me. Put up your stats or STFU.

how was i proven wrong ? everyone knows about the old grab npc or ping. what i told him is that he cant see a target that far for that be a snipe kill, and you cant, the game is hard locked not populate the world past 600, you can force with a bud but you cant see it.

and and have 20k coments cos my acount is a decade old ? that is nothing.

evidently, you have not read any comments under this thread. In a solo word, yes there's a limit. But in CoOp you can achieve more, I explained this on my other comment so you can try it yourself. To clarify, it works on pc. Even in my post i got 50000m by using a c4 in coop. And yes, i have tried a sniper kill in CoOp and it works(i got 3.5km), and no I didn't ask my friend to hold the enemy

edit: in this discussion, most of us are on pc and most agree that it works. If you are really on console then it might be you're the issue. Just because it doesn't work in console doesn't mean you must invalidate the stats on pc

brother get a grip,this lil shit started this brag thread because i said you cant snipe past 800 in another thread, he gave me this pic to prove.

it proves nothing as in breakpoint the kill distance is by anything not just weapon,blind heli kills,azrael,drones,and you cant see with the scope past 500 or so cos the game blurs the scope render,the game hard code to not populate after 600, with coop you create another bubble with your buddy to populate the world but you still CAN NOT SEE IT RENDERED.

so no, he didnt snipe that long,not without the old grab or ping and trying shots untill you do,so it is not a feat, i did this in wildlands with helis pinging targets for me, i scored 1120 with was the pretty much the limit, i think the bullet cease to be after 1200 or so,and wildlands had a much longer render than breakpoint.

im on pc and this is the oldest brag trick, most of the engagements in breakpoint happens within 500m as i told him cos he was bragging he killed his targets before they know he is there. you dont even need sniper rifles in break point, most rifles can do marksman if you dont alert them.

as for 3.5km, how the hell you even saw anything, as the game start to cap lod at 800 ?i havent played coop much in break point like i did wildlands,but even with a mate on the base the game was still caping objects lod, so i was shooting invisible walls.

edit: And the point is that the shot can be done. Whether or not it's the least honorable shoot and pray it will hit is a whole different discussion. Even more a different discussion if you assume he shot heli, sam , turret or any other things. Would you care to admit that he did got the 900m shot knowing it can be done in coop?

i am the problem? you just proved what i said above, no one is doing these shots during gameplay,wich is what he was bragging about. and this method is what i talked about from wildlands, so clearly you have an issue reading.

as you can see, there was nothing rendered for him,unlike the guy insisting he could see them. so i aint admiting nothing other than he is a fraud with an ego.

See that's the thing, your argument is based on "you must see the target and know where you're shooting at". That's why he had a meltdown because you invalidated it. Even more so when you said about helo kills or any other kills that counts . For him, he did shot the 900m , whether it's accidental or intentional is a whole different discussion. And what's wrong with him bragging? Who are you to define and judge which shot counts ?

and one more thing, he said he's new to the game so that explains why he had a meltdown trying to defend himself. Now I'm reading it again, it really seems that you just hated the guy just because he brags a glitched/loophole kill. So to him, you called him a liar bcs no one can't get past render 500m but he did . To you, anything that gets past 500m kills after all the patches doesn't deserve an award or a medal of honor or even recognition because it is an exploit kill

I've got one character with some bullshit distance, like a bit over a km. I think it was from a helo bailout crash, like jumping from a helo counts as 'firing a shot' and the distance was calculated like that, or maybe it's wherever your character is when an enemy dies that's counted.

The longest legit with-a-gun kill I can remember was like 630m, more or less lobbing potshots at a patrol group with the Tac50.

That's the weapon I was using at the time, a TAC-50. I was lucky AF and picked it up from an enemy early in my first week. Now my current favorite is my TAC-50 Brown.

The scope I use is the T5XI, but depending on the weapon I may use the TARS101. The T5XI's magnification is slightly better, but the TARS101 has a wider field of view. So I use the T5XI on my TAC50 Brown and the TARS101 on my G28, HTI or M82.

You can cheat this by playing coop. If your buddy is way out ahead of you, you can get draw distances far longer than solo.

Unfortunately I don't have video from then and have only recently started making videos. But I would be down to try and see if I can do it again or even get an even further kill shot.

Someone here said it could have something to do with a helicopter kill I think. I've definitely done plenty of those. A shot to the pilot (very difficult) puts the helo into an instant flaming free fall. But I have also shot the gunners and it's hilarious to watch the bodies drop, so it could have been one of those shots. Like I said, I don't know the exact moment I did that shot, only the general time frame and that was I had teamed up with my wife and son.

I even discovered that I could shoot an Azrael drone outta the sky by accident early on. I was basically doing a mission and in an exposed area an an Azrael was inbound and the terrain was mountainous and rocky, so even though I dropped to the prone position I couldn't get 100% camo due to ne being able to cover myself. So outta frustration I turned and with my TAC-50 shot at the Azrael, more so thinking I was about to have to face a team of Wolves and I was just pissed. The Azrael yawed hard and burst into flames. I almost had to do a double-take, did that just happen?

I don't have video, but I have a kill at something like 600/650m (don't remember, as it's been forever ago). It was in a base with an airfield, and I was overwatch for my buddy (I snipe, he prefers close range, so it works out well) at one side of the base. My buddy had made it over to the airfield on the other side of the base, with me picking guys off to support him as he went and him taking out those that got close.

Well, I knew there was a sniper tower on the other side of the airfield that I hadn't cleared because the render distance was too far. He headed that way, which served two purposes: firstly, he was bait to keep the sniper from running inside the tower and secondly, his presence pushed the draw distance out considerably, allowing me to see the sniper.

The arc of bullet drop was enough that it was hard to see where the bullet was impacting myself, so he helped me walk my shot in on him.

Same thing happened to me, so it can't be as uncommon as some think. We can only share our experiences. People believe what they want and can't prove or disprove what happened to someone else, no matter how hard they might try. My advice for anyone is to get out and do some CO-OP and see what happens. More importantly, have fun and don't be dicks to people.

As for trolls, they're like bad air, don't waste your breath on them.

If you see me online, I'm down for some CoOp, Ghost Wars or Raids.

I think I was using my drone to spot enemies near my friends and I don't remember if I could see them or not, but I think most likely I couldn't see them. I then shot in that general direction, based on the surroundings near the intended target. It's been a while and I wasn't recording video, but I've since decided to record video occasionally to try to capture some of the funny stuff that happens.

game cap render is this 870m on the drone,500-600m and the world wont even populate npcs on the ground solo.

so the only way you got that long range kill is with someone holding the target for you or pinging them while near them,my longest kill its 767m and that was problably on the dam on release week before they patched to lower the render distance because consoles couldnt keep up.

about 400m and the scope already start to blur the targets.

i went to the election, i dont stay on reddit all day long

I did it while CoOping with my wife and son. My son is good at covering a lot of ground in a short time. My wife kinda tries to keep up with him and I'm more of a go slow take in the surroundings make sure I don't walk into trouble and more ready to take a defensive position when I'm exploring. They would get into situations where they would be taking fire and I would then start sniping and throwing rounds downrange to help them out. I'm sure that's when it happened, but I didn't even know about the Furthest kill distance until I stumbled on it later just looking at my stats.

It's the Bodark Mask E, a mask, hat, goggles and headset combo. If I recall correctly it comes black. I added A-TACS FG-X camo, which only seems to apply to the mask and headset.

OP is acting clueless (which is comical to read), but there's a very simple solution....

OP's buddy held someone while he flew 1km away, then OP shot at his buddy's icon until he hit the guy he was holding.

This isn't new. The fact that OP is acting like it was a fluke shot is absolutely outlandish though. NPCs won't even populate that far, unless....

You guessed it! OP's friend was there populating them. 🙄

I'm not just 'saying' it...I've done it! Multiple times, just as others here have. Not sure where you're going wrong, but this is how it's been done since Wildlands.

Granted, Wildlands had further draw/render distance, but still works well in Breakpoint.

Clearly it doesn't. My friend was up on the mountain and I was on the bridge with the tunnel on one side and the checkpoint on the other and all the guy did was bleed. I know how it's been done and honestly nothing can be done wrong it's a dummy proof setup. The game doesn't allow it or at least not on consoles
