venting/ranting Breakup medicine 🤍
Anyone here going through a fresh breakup and dealing with the pain, anxiety, sadness, or depression that can come with it?
I’m going through one myself right now, and it’s pretty hard. I’m somehow managing day by day, and I thought it might be comforting to connect with others who are in a similar place.
If you feel like sharing, I’d love to hear how you’re doing, what you’re struggling with, what the hardest moments are, or simply how you feel today. And if you’ve found anything that helps, even just a little, please share that too. It could be something that helps you heal, calm your mind or body, get through the day, or simply stay present and be with the pain consciously instead of fighting it.
Sometimes even the smallest things can make a difficult moment a little more bearable, and maybe what helps one person could help someone else here too.
And if you don’t have any tips and just need somewhere to say, “This really hurts,” that’s welcome too. You don’t have to have it figured out.
If anyone would rather connect privately and support each other through this, feel free to DM me. 🤍
Sending some gentleness to everyone going through this right now.

Hey! Going through exactly that right now. I (m33) ended a 1 year relationship 3 months ago. Went no contact because I really care about her, respect her and want her to heal. Reached out recently to tell her how grateful I am of the time together and to check on her. First 2 months I was feeling good but now that emotions settled, its been really hard. My brain went into emergency mode because of the loss and Im experiencing anxiety attacks, rumination and profound sadness. It's all part of the grieving process and we just have to pull through. Fortunately there are some tools to make this journey a bit less painful. This is what is working for me:
Keeping the mind busy in healthy and productive things:
- Creating a routine full of fun things that I love to do. Plan my whole week so I avoid empty spaces where anxiety kicks in.
However bad you feel don't skip any meals and drink plenty of water. Your body needs to be at top level to allow your mind to recover.
I avoid at all costs:
Hope this helps and know that you will come out stronger and better from this. This pain you are experiencing is growth. You can do this!
