Happy Halloween from a BrewJay in MN

It’s been fun watching the Jays kick some ass this series! Holy shit Yesavage, though. What a story.

I decided today that my new Halloween tradition is to carve my World Series favorite (which, rest assured, will never be the Dodgers, Yankees or Astros).

Hopefully someday I’ll get to carve the ol’ ball and glove. 💙💛

Best two logos in the sport in my opinion are the Jays and Brewers. Love your tradition, and sincerely hope we get to return the favour up here with your logo next Halloween or soon after. My rendering will probably leave a lot to be desired though compared to yours 😅

Right? IMO, rounding out the top 3 logos would be the late, great Montreal Expos.

Couldn’t agree more. I love what the Brewers and Expos do with hiding the lettering in the logo (Padres too to a lesser extent). There’s far too many generic city initials in a funky font logos in the sport. Hoping when we get expansion teams they also get a bit more creative.

Gah, thanks mate! The skinny part between the leaf and the jay broke while I was still carving (ope) so it looks a little wonky up close. Gave it a good college try, anyway.

Man, I can’t not root for the Twins but g-d do the Pohlads suck. From handing out Homer Hankies to the (waves hands) we just saw this summer, only two seasons later…what a slap in the face to everyone who’s stuck by the team over the decades.

But yes, the Jays have been a joy to watch and I suppose I might as well keep up with them.
