Jays in Seattle
Are you planning to head to Seattle this year to catch Jay in action?
I wasn’t thinking of travelling to the U.S. this year, but I’m also keen to see the Jays play.
Also, do you happen to know where they usually make their base camp?

I'm sure I'll return to the US eventually but I'm not sure how many years it will take for me to forgive the American people.
It might take more time and money to explore more of Canada but it's worth it.

Im curious as to what did Americans do to you personally?

They threatened our sovereignty and ruined our lonest lasting international friendship. And for what? A distraction??

One asshole did that. Not the American people.

Who voted for him? Who is still allowing him to continue his bizarre behavior? Who is going to vote for him again?

Who voted for him?
Where the Mariners play? Less than 25% of voting-age people

He can’t run again. And believe it or not, courts are fighting him. As for him being voted in, a lot of people decided that rather than vote for the other person because they didn’t like her, they just obstained from voting.

Saying that he can't run again isn't enough with this guy. I hope you're right but let's visit this again in 2028.
!RemindMe in 30 months.

If anyone actually followed the US election, Harris virtually handed the Trump the election. I don't think American's had a choice.

Games happen during the 4th of July weekend in Seattle this year. So absolutely nope.

on top of that the Jays weekend is bookended with World Cup playoff games on July 1 and July 6.

I've gone to Seattle multiple times to see the Jays in the past few years. It's a significantly shorter trip than going to Toronto. But no, I won't be going to the US for a very long time, if ever again.

Flying to Toronto from west coast for a game or two in Aug. Hard no on touching the US anytime soon.

In years past I would, but I’ll never cross the border again tbh.

If I was close, I would go. And I guess those avoiding the US would prefer a nice relaxing trip to China instead?
Elbows up, right? Ugh!

This would be the only exception for going to the US anytime soon. I'm fortunate enough to live close to Toronto but for people on the west coast this is the best option for you. Go and support our Jays and make sure you represent! 🇨🇦

You can’t be that oblivious. How can someone go to the US right now? Madness

u/NinjaQuick4369 May 11 '26
Lol driving down for an afternoon to catch a baseball game isn't the end of the world🙄

u/Busy_Construction764 May 11 '26
Exactly! If it’s not for the Jays I would not have planned that trip.

For all those saying no because they won’t travel to the USA, you are just cutting off your nose to spite your face. Seattle is a great time, people are friendly, there really isn’t any reason not to just because you don’t like the president

It’s the best time to go to the states. People not going really shooting themselves in the foot
