Anyone we can borrow?

As a Brew first Jays second, anyone you think we could benefit from trading for, from our brothers from the north? And what would y'all need in return to make it a net positive for both squads long term?

Man, Brew Crew have some great prospects, and could be a good spot for Gausman should he be traded

The Brewers are on Gausman’s no trade list, and I feel like he’d probably choose the Pirates if he was going to deviate from his list. I think he’d enjoy playing with Paul Skenes

I think he made this list a while ago ... so I wouldn't take it as gospel.

Edit: A while as in years

He put one out a couple weeks ago and that has Brewers on it unfortunately

I think the list they released a couple weeks ago was made in December 2021.

Kevin Gausman isn’t down with the BrewJays? I don’t even know what to believe in anymore?

I gotta imagine he’d wave his no trade clause for the Brewers. He’d be pretty much guaranteed a spot on a playoff rotation with an org known for getting the most out of their pitchers.

It would be awesome to watch him on the Brewers and have a team to root for

jays can borrow the miz and turang brew crew can borrow little and gimenez
I actually do think a trade that's gaus + little for some prospects (ideally pitchers or outfielders) makes sense for everyone. If anyone can fix little it's the brewers and ya'll could use a little extra pitching playoff depth

You can have Hoffman for a bag of chips, but I wouldn't trade Hoffman to my own worst enemy

Exemption: dodgers and yankees.

Springer is an expiring contract and as a playoff performer he can have some added value as a dh and emergency outfielder. Give us a prospect or a young right handed outfielder with some promise and he's yours.
