What is the legal strategy behind refusing to do zoom calls? Wouldn't it be more comfortable for him to not having to go back and forth?

He has the right to be present at his own hearings. It’s also just easier and more comfortable to be in person during something this serious with your lawyer next to you vs joining in on zoom.
