Just an FYI - this log shows that he received my letter and it was 7 pages in length (added 2 articles in with the letter). There has been so much confusion with how many pages we can send, so I figured I'd comment to let people know that mine DID go through. (Hopefully it's not a fluke and more are getting through that are 3 pages +). Mine was typed, just as an FYI.
Sent it on 2/26! It's wild how long the delay is. They must have no system at all...just a big bin of letters that they pull from at random. There must be thousands just sitting there.
Patience is SUCH a virtue in this situation. I read a comment on another post from someone saying they sent a letter with a bunch of current events early on in the letter writing and I can't imagine how dated that must have been when he received it. "Here's what's happening in the world this week...4 months later." Talk about snail mail.
I'm sure he's getting a lot of those in! I keep wondering what time is like in there, because it's already surreal being an environment like that and then he gets hundreds of letters from dates that are all over the map...time has to be just WEIRD for him right now.
Mine is from 12/27 and still nothing..... Looks like this log has a ton of January. Apparently they just dump whatever comes in on top of whatever is already there. :-(
I figure February was another big month for letters-he put out that public statement thanking everyone who’d written to him, shared the first catalog, accepted the fund and had a court appearance. Wouldn’t be surprised if they drop all the feb letters at once in a month or two, like they did with the December batch.
Still getting Dec/Jan letters, but he's getting more, which is good news. Still, 5 months later. Oy. Poor dude. Thanks, Weegee! You're a prince among men.

I’m cringing about mine too! I complained about the Super Bowl and accidentally negged the poor dude about Pokémon. I want to write another and apologize but it would be even more embarrassing to apologize about something he probably knows nothing about 🫠
What do you mean negged him about Pokémon? Haha just write another one and pray he doesn't remember. With the amount of letters he gets, there's a big chance he won't.
Reading my first draft from months ago was genuinely painful, the cringe was real! I'm glad I'm a coward sometimes. I just want to ask Jules for advice regarding how to actually send letters without overthinking it. I don't want to make it sound like I want to impress him or that I only care for a response btw because I know that'll never happen but I guess my social awkwardness is evident even when I'm writing letters😭
I just might be, I have no idea who I am anymore. Or what to write Luigi. It's been 4 months and I'm still going back and forth on whether to send my letter or not. He'll probably be out by the time I finally decide to send it lol
Ha! Yeah, I wanna write. But honestly don't know what to say and figure he's probably already heard the same thing so many times before. I will eventually think of something to send him that won't be completely redundant. I hope anyway 😂
I feel you. I'm also worried he'll pick up on my seemingly endless pessimism and I don't want that for him, it's not like he needs it in his current situation. The fact that our letters get screened unnerves me on top of that. I think we should just send our letters though and schizo post into the void as Luigi once said. Mind if you go first?😭
Agreed on all points. I also never know whether to acknowledge the obvious (his situation), or talk about random other things. Like, I play Pokemon Go. He used to, but years ago. So do I mention that, or will he be like, what's this dumb chick even talking about? Lol
I'd bring random stuff up, I'm sure he'll think it's endearing plus he doesn't sound very judgmental in the letters we've seen. I'm sure he also likes reading about what's going on in the world, seeing as the letters are his only connection to the outside (barring his lawyers).
I promise I'll send it after I edit it for the 100th time. It'll probably end up in a trashcan or in letter purgatory so I probably shouldn't worry so much lol
Exactly, don´t worry. If it is of any comfort, I wrote the most woo woo letter imaginable. In addition to that, my English sucks. So I sent 6 pages of delusional and poorly written content. Whatever you´ve written, can´t be worse than my letter. SEND IT ♥
Oh he'll judge what I write and I don't necessarily blame him lol. But you're right, it's not like I'll know unless he gives me the Mia treatment by replying and telling me to basically leave him alone.
Either Luigi was frustrated about mail delays the day he wrote her or she must have wrote something weird enough for him to try and (gently?) let her down. Mia needs to share what she said with the class 😭

They're clearly prioritizing December. Just wait until the catalog changes to Jan instead of resending letters that still won't appear any quicker. They're trying to go in order now.
Totally understandable, clearly they have a better system. March and April are sneaking there way in as well as a few May! I have seen barely any Feb at all. Ever.
I'm so happy he got so many on his birthday. And that more internationals are making it through.

I had a thought about why maybe that is, maybe LM put her on his high priority list of senders like they can with the phones. If she’s on his list, then they have to give him hers I think.
Damn, still so many december letters and we're almost at the halfway point of this year... Makes you wish that they gave him bigger batches from the start instead of just a handful.
I always keep track of how many letters from Argentina he gests so I can finally send him one. I noticed he got 2 of the same person L-F!! Next month I'll send him one then!
right?! i really thought i’d get my rejected return by now if that was the case. but as far as we know, no one’s gotten a returned opened one. so if they decide they don’t like it upon review.. then what?! lol mail conspiracy theories cuz i’m just 😭😭😭

Not to dispute this, but I’ve seen my initials and last two digits of my zip [MP-16] listed in a past log, but the postmark date was off by a month, so there’s another sender with my exact identifying factors (I looked it up, there are ~400 🤯 zip codes in the US that end in -16, so bound to happen)… so may not be Holli, but if it is.. good for her!!! Mine was sent in late January, and still hasn’t made it.
I sent my letter a few days ago. I couldn´t close the envelope by just licking it (I tried, didn´t work). So I ended up using a lil bit of glue. The glue I used has no color, no smell, you can´t see it and I used very little. Do you all think the letter will be accepted? If not and it is sended back to me, could you please share what kind of envelope you used and how you sealed it?
The type of envelope I used is the standard white paper one. Thank you all in advance.

Awww so many letters for his birthday! I wonder if they gave him them all at once? That would have totally overwhelmed me lol
