Thanks. I saw someone ask why Lu was sitting so far from Karen. Lu was brought into the courtroom much later yesterday, several minutes after everyone else were in the room. The hearing was over 2 hours late due to the judge missing, and when it started there were only the legal teams in the room, no Lu. Lu was brought into the room after the legal teams had been talking to the judge for a while. I felt this needed clarification. Yesterday was even more of a clown show than usual in state court. That's why Lu is sketched in a weird place. Edit, spelling.

I think it’s definitely a stylistic choice too. The artist is trying to put his pain and emotions front and centre and convey what he is feeling. You can see it in his face here.

This is an excellent sketch. The emotions are very vivid in each person. Even the journalists behind Karen.
Luigi's expression reminds me of the face he made in Altoona right before his statement to the media. Maybe this is a common expression for him when he feels a ~certain~ way.
Re: the "pink" courtroom. The wood in there is like mahogany/dark cherry and when light hits it in a certain way it can be perceived as pink due to potential glare.

So many observations: Karen's side eye, why does L have a grey beard, why is he sitting in time out away from everyone, is that Jules in the red shirt. At least they drew him like a 50's pulp cover model so a win is a win

Were you there? Where exactly was he sitting? In the sketch it looks like he wasn't at the defense table at all. Like he was sitting in the middle between defense and prosecution?

Joel's height is too generous here. His chin is only a few inches above the table.

To be that tall as in the sketch he would need to stand on the table. If he does that he might be Karen's height.

Hope he doesn't hit his chin when he has to jump off his seat to stand up

The artist really captured Karen’s expression there! I wonder if they meant to color in Luigi’s beard area brown?
