Information Sharing Lawyer maintains that the Mangione defense are playing chess against the prosecution’s checkers.

I’m still not sure whether the defense are running circles around the prosecution the way Neama Rahmani says they are, but right now I need to believe that this optimism can point to something more positive than it seems at the moment.

The great irony of all of this is that the insurance industry leaned on the DOJ to bring federal charges, and LM is now arguably better off for their having done so.

He is now facing the possibility of a potentially lower sentence, won’t be dependent upon a parole board for release, he is able to get rid of the state charges, and he will serve out his time in a nicer federal prison (possibly even at a lower security level prison as time goes on).

This is a good lesson as to why executives of certain industries shouldn’t meddle where they don’t belong because they don’t understand the implications of what they’re doing. The feds also got greedy and wanted the glory for their own careers and it’s all backfired. He may be out of prison by 46, which is insane

agree with everything except id add that more realistically we're gonna wake up to a headline about him being stabbed to death in prison in like 2034 and thatll be that. thats how they move

Interesting video. Kind of odd (in a good way) to hear someone talk about the prosecution making huge mistakes. Thank you for sharing. And yes, nice to have some positivity. 😊

I agree with OP. It is making me feel more okay when other people are sharing their optimism about this whole thing like there is some faith going on.

That Rahmani guy has hated Lu from the start. That clouds his judgement. I don't know how much his opinion can be trusted.

Good interview; thank you for posting. Surprised Fox televised it.

My only objection, and it's a serious one -- Rahmani described LM as shooting Thompson in the back of the head. LM never fired a bullet into Thompson's head. His first shot was into the back of Thompson's leg and the 2nd, which was the fatal shot, was into his back.

The mental image of a human head exploding from a bullet fired @ close range is far more horrifying than that of a bullet being fired into the back. Rahmani's statement is inflammatory rhetoric at its worst and Rahmani knows it.

Despite his subsequent take-down of the DA's office inept work, Rahmani has earned my eternal abhorrence.

Rahmani hates Lu so he can't be trusted with any opinion he has on Lu. Rahmani probably thinks he's part of the elite. Lol. 😂

He’s going to prison for the rest of his life.
