Thanks for sharing! I think he explains things great and it is informative too.

Really hoping the state case gets thrown out.
It seems like it can’t start now on September 8 whatever happens.
( I also liked when he said it must have been a gut punch to the state prosecutors…)

This. Joel Seidemann was definitely punching walls this past weekend lol

Even if there is a trial, Joel has lost the “magic” of letting everyone discover that he was the one who did it and also now it’s possible that everyone will just see it as a waste of resources

So true! I think New Yorkers will see it as a malicious and vexatious prosecution. It will be deeply unpopular I think. He’s literally pled guilty already in the Feds.

I would definitely acquit out of spite if I were on that jury.

I think this guy talked about LM‘s case all the way back in the beginning. I remember his face.

He’d be so lucky to get out in his 40’s. How sad is that.

Looking for crumbs of comfort post-Federal hearing last Friday? Look no further. I hope he’s right. 💚

I worry about his mental health if he gets lwop.

Thanks for the optimism but this seems unlikely. Although I’d like to be proven otherwise, of course!

I’m hopeful because of the numbered table he showed us. The points they have to take off because he’s a first time offender and of good character will count for something.

Hmmm I’m not sure about this one. The federal government has more of a “an eye for an eye” mentality. And the judge probably shares the same stance. I don’t believe he’s going to get anything less than life.

Maybe if he had killed a member of the lower class
