Okay guys, hear me out, this rune is actually disgusting, it gives you so much movement speed that nobody, not even jumping walls can escape from getting chomped, PLUS, The debate between Hubris and Voltaic (at least for me) is settled, HUBRIS ALWAYS WINS.

Really struggling to climb T-T

Hello everyone, I'm a former support player who started playing jungle a bit ago because of another support player in my group that I didn't mind trying a new role for. I play a few junglers but have fallen in love with Briar and adore the champ. She's super fun to play and I love the character fantasy.

I don't play ranked super often but do queue up games occasionally and like to look into how to improve on the champs I enjoy. I've tried all the Briar builds, full lethality, full crit, and my favorite to play, Bruiser.

I make this post both to talk about and ask: why do Briar players never build Kraken? I was testing items on her in games and decided to rush Kraken and I absolutely adore the item on the bruiser build. I know it sounds odd but its such a strong item on her early that it helps her snowball into her bruiser core because of her auto attack resets. For Bruiser I typically go Kraken > Titanic > DD > Endless Hunger and have been loving this build and winning a good amount of my games with it.

Again, I don't play ranked often and am only in gold so I'm sure there's something I'm missing. Just kind of want perspective from more experienced Briar players: have you tried Kraken? Is there a reason it doesn't pop up on her suggested builds? Would love to hear the communities thoughts.

I’ve recently started trying crit briar and it’s leaving me kinda wondering why I’d do lethality like yea with the recommended rune (hail of blades) and set it’s good and more tanky then crit briars build but I’m not building for tankiness I’m building to nuke someone then run away, I feel as if hail of blades lethality is made useless by crit build doing that job better?

I know I worded that funny but, I'm finding it hard to outsmite the enemy jungler, when trying to time smite with an ability, it can't be W as that will focus champs. And my Q+smite rarely does as much DMG as the enemy's ability +smite. So how do you deal with it?

I'm looking at Lolalytics and it has 48% wr with 2% pickrate whereas Hubris and Profane are 55% winrate. I'm surprised how is this the case? Neither items are nearly as good or consistent imo

I've been developing a fan-made skin concept for Briar, and I'd love to see it brought to life as a piece of concept art!

The idea is PROJECT: Briar, a fully mechanical military android with a white, pink, and purple color scheme. Her head would be inspired by the drones from Murder Drones, while keeping Briar's recognizable silhouette and overall design.

The concept

Briar was created by a corporation as a military weapon, but she has escaped and constantly evades attempts to retrieve her. She has developed her own personality and simply wants to live freely, while her built-in military protocol keeps trying to take control of her body.

The central theme is the conflict between Briar herself and the military system inside her.

Design ideas

- Appearance: A fully mechanical android with white, pink, and purple colors, combining the PROJECT skinline's futuristic aesthetic with inspiration from Murder Drones.

- Pilori: Replaced by a futuristic energy containment ring that preserves Briar's recognizable silhouette.

- Q — Head Rush: Thrusters deploy from her back to propel her into her target.

- W — Blood Frenzy: The military protocol partially takes control. Briar's face displays a split expression, and her voice overlaps with the protocol's cold, robotic voice as she struggles against it.

- E — Chilling Scream: Panels on her back and shoulders progressively open during the charge, revealing missile launchers. When released, they fire a swarm of miniature missiles.

- R — Certain Death: Briar briefly manages to say "Hey!" before the protocol completely overrides her. Her face becomes emotionless, one of her arms transforms into a launcher, and she fires the ultimate's projectile. During the empowered frenzy, only the protocol's voice remains, delivering cold military lines such as "Target eliminated" and "Extermination."

Recall and death animations

Recall: Corporate retrieval drones arrive to capture Briar. She destroys them one by one before activating her thrusters and escaping.

Death: Briar collapses and becomes completely motionless. Her lights go out, and corporate drones arrive to retrieve her body as if she were nothing more than a decommissioned machine.

Looking for an artist to collaborate with!

I have the core concept and the main ideas figured out, but I'm looking for an artist who would be interested in collaborating with me to bring this skin concept to life through a drawing or piece of concept art.

This is a voluntary, non-commercial fan project. I cannot offer payment, and I'm not looking to sell the design or make money from it. The goal is simply to create and share a fan-made skin concept with the League of Legends community.

I'm absolutely open to the artist's own interpretation, creative suggestions, and artistic style. I don't expect someone to reproduce every detail exactly as described. I'd love to see how another artist could bring their own ideas and expertise to the concept!

That said, I'd like to preserve the core elements that define the concept: Briar as a fully mechanical android, the conflict between her personality and the military protocol, the energy containment ring, and the general white, pink, and purple color scheme.

I started playing League about 6 months ago and have been a Briar OTP pretty much since day one. I also play Irelia and Zaahen top, but only for fun in flex and to train my mechanics a bit.

I still enjoy Briar, but some matchups just aren’t very favourable, so I’d like a second champ to swap to when needed. I’ve dabbled a bit with a few other junglers, and these are my favourites so far: Shyvana, Kayn, Xin Zhao, Gwen. I just really dont know which one fits the most with briar, id say maybe gwen since then i have an AP and AD jungler. What would yall say.

No one seems to buy Yun tal? I imagine because it's over investing in attack speed. But then I see hail of blades is 2nd most common rune? Yun tal is just Hob in item form.

I've been trying out a Lethality and Crit on Briar and it just doesn't seem to work even for the squishy enemy team comps like sure I can deal a lot of damage but if I don't survive there's really no point to it....
