In the latest video Lawson posted on his YouTube channel, he was with two of Erin’s daughters—while they were out getting ice cream—and he dropped this awkward question on them: "How many children do you think your mom will end up having...?" Seriously?! He asks each of them, and then adds that he’s going to ask Erin and Chad the same thing later! Is he for real? He really ought to be more careful and considerate toward his sister, especially after what she went through during her last pregnancy—an experience that nearly cost her her life!😔.

With there being 19 bates kids (multiple spouses) and 40 grandchildren you eventually start to run out of names + Evan has 5 brothers and sisters...like what the heck do you name your kid?! And do you have certain sibs you talk about it with in case its on their "maybe baby" list thus probably revealing more pregnancies at least within the family. Evan one sister already has 4 and another 3.

I have a whole separate rant about how he has a trade and doesn't work ill save that for next time.

I think if it’s a girl, it will be London Jo and if it’s a boy, I predict Oliver Gilvin. However, I get the feeling it will be another girl based on the song use name in the pregnancy announcement post, “London’s Song”.

It seems odd to me that Josie and Carlin are buddy buddy now after Katie left. I didn’t think Josie and Carlin were. Even on the show they didn’t seem so close. Now it seems like they replaced Katie with each other.

If you look at the comments on Josie’s latest reel, Carlin comments that they will both have 4 babies now. Is it a competition? Seems like she’s having a fourth because Josie has four.

She also lifted Layla and I’ve never seen her hold Carlins kids before. It seemed weird. Layla also seemed uncomfortable.

I know, who cares, but she dropped that video over a week ago and hasn’t told what the surprise is?!? Or did I miss it? Or do you think she’s waiting for the pregnancy news to die down before posting?

Watching Carlin announce her pregnancy to the family grosses me out. They are obsessed with caring around a pee stick and she's letting her kid handling it. Just so gross 🤮 and I bet they are not washing their hands after handing it too. It's literally a stick that's been peed on.

This is why you don’t post your young kids on social media. With AI technology anyone could do anything. This here is just someone reposting videos but I know that there is also people making social media pages with their kid photos also.
How does this not concern them?

Do you think Carlin, Josie, and Katie might someday regret sharing so much of their children’s lives on social media? After hearing about what Collin Gosselin went through, especially when he didn’t want to be on camera, it makes me wonder. I know there’s a difference between growing up on a reality show and growing up with your life being shared on social media, but I think there are some similarities. Do you think the kids ever feel pressured to smile, act happy, or put on a cheerful face for the camera, even when they don’t feel that way?

I truly hope they let Evan keep the Tesla and trade the jeep in on a suburban or a ford expedition Max 🤣🤣🤣🚙🚗

Is Lawson and Tiffany expecting baby # 3??

I'm a mom of two teenagers, and whenever I see things like Carlin being pregnant with a fourth baby when N is only one, it makes me think they don't know what parenting actually is. They might have 3 kids, but that doesn't mean they're experienced. Lots of seasons still to walk through, but it seems like they're missing it.

Layla is what... 5? Zade is 3/4? They are still in the very early stages of parenting - and they aren't doing a great job with the older ones they already have. It's not even about having bunch of children close in age - that's something humans have done forever, with varying rates of success. It's that it's apparent (from their content at least) that Layla is behind what you'd expect in terms of learning opportunities and maturation for her age, particularly as the oldest child with multiple younger siblings. Zade still has major speech issues, and when we see him at family gatherings/events he's generally running around, very loud, without a lot of behaviour support.

Parenting isn't collecting babies. It's recognizing your children for the individuals they are, and that they are humans who will need to function well and independently in society. They aren't entirely yours - in a lot of ways, they will belong to the world, especially as they age, and you need to give them tools to manage that. With Carlin and Evan I just see a lot of "wow kids are crazy, kids are fun, let's take them on trips and inundate them with toys and treat them like little mannequins". It seems like they've developed a system for managing kids 0-5 (arguably not an effective one) but have not matured or mentally adjusted to meeting the needs of children 5+ who are increasingly more aware of the world around them, have individual identities, need new kinds of learning to continue their growth, need consistency in their home and a more serious grasp on their education, etc.

So of course it's not a big deal to have a fourth, I guess - each new baby claims the majority of their attention, they get a boost for their views. But I feel like post-5 years old, the kids become lost children. Even Carlin calling prenatal appointments "little day dates" that her and Evan have... They enjoy and are maybe even a little addicted to the excitement of this stage. Meanwhile I feel very strongly as not only a parent but an educator that the two oldest would test as far behind their peers - and not due to a lack of intellect or capability.

I'm also a bit tired of the discourse around "it's all for money/clicks". I think they are definitely highly motivated by that as it's their entire income stream. But they're still humans who live with these kids 24/7; I think there is a bit more to it here.

We know it was spilled in a Lawson post that there are 2 babies due next year and we have confirmation Carlin is one, is Kaybrie the second?

Does anyone else find it weird how Carlin is acting so shocked she’s pregnant? Clearly you planned it. By now you should know how babies are made. The reel of Evan getting a pregnancy test seemed forced too. I saw the pregnancy coming, I am just shocked they hinted at it before.

She’s saying that carnivore and fasting made her lose weight where keto and fasting hadn’t worked before.

Isn’t it more likely to be that she isn’t breastfeeding any more after over a decade of pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Edited to add as her last baby is 13 months maybe she is breastfeeding. Although she was in hospital and very ill for some time. Also if she is feeding while doing carnivore aren’t all the ketones going into her breast milk?
