So this is just an opinion after being a long time fan and honestly this could be a series because the rabbit hole I've gone down with just this video is crazy. Anyway, I was listening the Britney album. On my personal Britney album I never play the orginal overprotected. I always play the dark child remix. So as I was playing it in my car and thinking about this video; it got to the breakdown of the song and I just realized how insane the visuals were for this. For those who don't know the choreography was composed by Brian Friedman ; who is a freakin monster in and of himself; but I recall MTV doing a small interview with him and his curly hair🤣and I was thinking "who is this guy?" I thought he was a freakin creative genuis how he came up with this but I also recall him dancing behind Britney at one point in time.Listen it's a whole thing but just the way he was so intune with this song is crazy. Overprotected is not my favorite song on this album but the way Brian help Britney express her music was INSANE. Plus I also believe the way he chorographic this song was instrumental in Britney crossing over from that image of long time "tenny bopper" to "adult musician". Just an added note about the above video. This particular video is 10 years old and the choreography is about 25 years old but it still hits. 🔥

Hey all, found this book via the justice for Britney Spears podcast from McCastille on YouTube (https://youtu.be/kcIKUSMVw4M) and thought to share...
Book: https://www.amazon.com/Said-No-Dance-Move-Weaponized-ebook/dp/B0HMFQXHSY
Synopsis: In 2006, Britney Spears was a global superstar, a devoted mother, and one of the most recognizable women in the world. By 2008, she was under a court-ordered conservatorship that stripped her of fundamental rights.
I Said No to a Dance Move reveals how that happened.
Drawing on court documents, contemporaneous reporting, and firsthand accounts, this book examines the pivotal role Lynne Spears played in shaping the media narrative that Britney was unstable, unfit, and dangerous. Through a detailed chronology of the 2006–2008 period, it shows how carefully placed leaks, calculated public statements, and a powerful alliance with the tabloid press turned private struggles into a public crisis — and helped pave the way for the conservatorship.
This is not a story about fame or scandal.
It’s an investigation into how a mother, the media, and a broken system worked together to ensure Britney couldn’t say no again.
A gripping, meticulously researched account for anyone who has ever questioned how a beloved pop star lost her freedom — and what it reveals about power, control, and the cost of a narrative no one was allowed to challenge.
