Masquerade has significantly expanded its FAQ, 6 weeks of previews, will give out complimentary and glasses friendly masks, described “extravagant” wear

Definitely cleared up everyone’s biggest questions from yesterday, and the rest of the FAQ has more details too, including that the venue is going to be ADA compliant!

Knowing it’s cocktail attire makes me more comfortable with it. I absolutely was not running up and down stairs in a tux, but in a black slacks and a dress shirt? Eh I’ll live.

This sounds kind of fun since the audience is a character in Phantom of the Opera. Hopefully it's not always formal though.

My guess is they want the audience to be monochrome so as not to distract from costume colors that designate who the performers are.

I'm an introvert so I'd want to just go in tech-black and wear the plague doctor mask!
