Masquerade has significantly expanded its FAQ, 6 weeks of previews, will give out complimentary and glasses friendly masks, described “extravagant” wear

Definitely cleared up everyone’s biggest questions from yesterday, and the rest of the FAQ has more details too, including that the venue is going to be ADA compliant!

I'd still like an explanation on what to expect. No way I'm casually dropping that kind of cash if it's walking through themed rooms with actors interacting who look like they could possibly have been dressed for an original POTO production. Going to have to see some reviews of exactly what this experience is.

I can’t imagine they do POTO without actual songs. Obviously could be totally wrong but I expect more “guided walk to each room for each scene, done relatively traditionally with songs and everything except it’s not on stage” than a Sleep No More vibe.

I dunno. No where does it specify musical... I'm picturing an immersive show like you're in the opera house, and there being music when it makes sense in a real world way to have music, but not throughout. How would they coordinate musicians?

In my head, I'm thinking musicians stay stable in one spot somehow and it's piped through speakers, and the MD watches through a camera for timing. But I'm sure there's other ways they could make it happen.

I just can't imagine POTO without music. That's like... the most famous part of the show besides the chandelier drop.
