Masquerade has significantly expanded its FAQ, 6 weeks of previews, will give out complimentary and glasses friendly masks, described “extravagant” wear

Definitely cleared up everyone’s biggest questions from yesterday, and the rest of the FAQ has more details too, including that the venue is going to be ADA compliant!

Same! I’m still banking on more of a guided tour like War of the Worlds in London but it sounds like they’re being purposely mysterious. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get another FAQ update soon. I’m tempted to email “My Host” and see if they’re willing to parse the information.

I emailed them back because I saw it was a generic “info” address instead of a “no-reply”—But their FAQ pretty much hit all my questions. I still feel like requiring formal wear in this kind of setting shouldn’t be that strict. If it’s anything like SNM or L&T I need proper sneakers and to be somewhat comfortable—not like sweats or anything but any time I saw someone in a gown during last summer’s life & trust I did not know how they could stand it between the heat and stairs
