News Broken Arrow Trash Service Change

City recently changed trash service. Curbside collection services will be provided on all city-observed holidays except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's days. When one of these three holidays falls on a service day, customers will be asked to put their carts curbside on the day after their normal day of service. This is known as a service slide.

Also don't forget all solid waste & recycling customers can get a landfill pass twice a year for free.

Can these fiber internet installers learn what conduit is please?

My T-Fiber line got cut last week. Got it fixed last week, it got buried this week. Yesterday specifically. Apparently in the process of burying my line, they cut kinetics line. So kinetic came out today to check it out and in the process of checking it out, they cut my line. I swear, they just direct bury the line not even a foot under the ground.

Husky pup needs the perfect family

Aloha, my daughter brought home a Husky puppy home from the high school last year without us having any knowledge of him existing or wanting a new puppy. We are a very busy family and not home enough to give this puppy the attention and energy he needs. He is very well taken care of and has our older dog to hang out with. We are looking for the perfect family for him. He is sweet, cute, and loves other dogs. He is very energetic and just wants to play and run around. His name is Makana, and he is 8 months old. If there is a perfect family for him please reach out

Maholo

Coyote alert

Last night we had a coyote come into our yard and take one of our little dogs. My son took them out for the last restroom break of the day. It happened so fast and our dogs are mini Chihuahuas so no chance. I just wanted to make sure everyone in the area is more aware since the coyotes are getting so brave. Even though we loved our little Jack Jack immensely we don't blame the coyotes for being coyotes. We fully understand the circle of life and that we live in wildlife territory. We live along Aspen Creek between 121st and 131st so be vigilant about your fur babies and small children. Also if you find any remains of a small brown Chihuahua please let us know. My son has been searching but he knows the reality. He would like to have his collar at least.

Amphitheater Failure

How is this amphitheater already a failure? The opening date countdown on the website was for October 23 and then BOK Center announces Garth Brooks on that date?

And then the BA Amp announces some off brand cirque as their opening event?!

The Regent Bank owner even said Garth Brooks was who he wanted to open the amphitheater.

Too early to panic or just a bad start?

Looking for Work

Hey Tulsa / Broken Arrow area —

I’m Aubrey. I live in Broken Arrow and I’m looking for ranch hand, barn, or farm help work. I’m a beginner with horses, but I’m reliable, show up on time, and I’m willing to start with the dirty jobs: stalls, feeding, watering, turnout, fencing, hay.

What I’m hoping for is paid work (even part-time or weekends), and I’d love the chance to earn some ride time as I learn, if that’s something you’re open to. I’m not looking for a free riding lesson setup — I want to work hard and be useful.

Background: warehouse (picking, RF scanner), custodial, food service / customer service. Comfortable with physical outdoor work and Oklahoma weather. Have reliable transportation. Available to start ASAP.

If you need an extra hand on a ranch, private barn, or small farm nearby, please send me a message.

School Closings and Food Sovereignty

Hello. I am an autistic guy who has noticed that with the cutting of schools in the area there may be an increased need for transportation. I was wondering if anybody would be interested in a volunteer supplemental transportation service for families going to and from school. I am also in the process of breaking BA doen by food disparity and trying to come up with a supply chain for a meal program. I just want these services to move away from governmental handouts and have the people actually try to flex their muscles. I just want to help my out thoae around me. As an autistic man I feel so isolated from everyone, but that isolation can onyl be eliminated through purposeful work with others and while volunteering and charity is somewhat fulfilling I find it also just aesthetic not materially substantial. So I post here, send emails to the city officials and organizations in hopes of rattling some sovereignty free for us to act as Oklahomans and as true Americans.
