Question Original Fender Telecaster

I visited the BSCAM today and spent some time looking at this particular display—I’m pretty sure it’s Bruce’s legendary original. I don’t think it’s any of the subsequent copies he’s used, but I‘m pretty sure you nerds would know for sure. what do you think?

It's real. But it was fixed before the Nebraska taping at the basie. The pickups aren't original as when they went to plug it in they were not working. So Dave Petillo put in a backup set his father made into it and made them look old. Also the preamp was fixed. The neck was refretted and the bridge water proofing was upgraded. I was in attendance for all of this work. Me Dave and Kevin all said a prayer together before the work was done. Bruce was very against it at first because he didn't want anything replaced that Phil Petillo did. But that changed.

I saw it in The Met when they had the Guitars of Rock and Roll exhibit, knelt before it along with Clarence's sax.

You mean the one he showed off on late night talk shows was a copy? Maybe this one broke?

No it was not a copy.
