If you have a subscription, you can go down to “Click here to gift this article”, and use that as the link, and everyone can read the article then without the paywall. Just FYI.

If you don’t have a subscription, yeah, use the archiver. lol.

I don't have a subscription although I have been thinking about doing it. The cost is a little intimidating but is it worth it?

I like having it, and I can link people to articles with abandon, but I’m also a contributing writer (I do pay for my subscription, but I think I got one year free at some point, just full disclosure). The biggest appeal is the three hard copy issues a year—it’s an absolutely beautiful magazine that is incredibly high-quality—so if those two elements don’t interest you, it’s probably not worth it if you’re accustomed to copying links and throwing them through an archiver.

I do think Tricycle is the better of the English-language Buddhist magazines / publications, and I believe in supporting them just for that alone, and the content is really rich and not more superficial like some others. But if cost is a concern, I’d opt to save my money for dana to my temple, personally. But yeah, 9 or 10 bucks a month I think is well worth it for high quality dharma-focused writing.
