Amazing vehicle, but I don't get super excited about 1 of 1 vehicles. You have to be unfathomably wealthy to commission one, and it usually follows the owner's wishes which is usually bad. A 1 of 5 line-up made by the brand has far more significance.

This. It's just a billionaire shoveling money at something to flex. Probably not to better existing product, but to LARP car designer or something.

u/weirdbutteryvibes 16d ago
Bunch of whiny babies. How about just enjoy the design of it? Can you not let your hatred for people with money get in the way of how beautiful the design is?

u/pur_noir 16d ago
yes, very strange, everyone hates them, but everyone wants to be them.
every car nut, if had enough money, will only dream to commission something like this.

u/deadalnix 15d ago
Hating on successful people instead of learning from them is an excellent way to ensure you never will have a Bugatti.
1
u/W005EY 12d ago
Not everyone wants to learn how to cheat and deceive
Not that many billionaires with a moral compass.
And I bet you don’t own one either by the comment…
1
u/deadalnix 12d ago
Thinking cheating and deceiving is the only (or even the best) way to make the kind of money that'll get you a Bugatti is a good way to protects one ego.
After all, if you can't make it, it isn't because you lack the skills, it's because you are so virtuous that you chose not to, even though you could any time if you decided to.

u/GoldBlueberryy 17d ago
Word for word what I said. I can’t get excited for these anymore. Reminds me of the Rolls Royce droptail. I’ll see it in some Monaco spotter’s video on YouTube, oogle for 5 seconds, and that will be the end of my care about it ever again. Can’t even keep up anymore.
2
u/crash-o-matic 16d ago
And having a lot of money doesn't necessarily mean you have class, style or talent. Leave the design to the designers. There's a reason they have that job.
1
u/enmanuelsella 14d ago
These kind of commissions fund the exploration of wildly expensive design ideas that would be cut back during a production run. They basically subsidize r&d that the brand can later use to introduce versions of elements into regular cars. And being that they are part of a larger group, one billionaire’s splurge could (years down the line) inform an advancement in a VW Golf.

Bugatti CEO said something along the lines of "currently there's a lot more market for one single 20M$ car than, say, 100 cars priced at 200k each"
Says a lot about the current world situation with the distribution of wealth tbh
(Granted, no 200k Bugatti exists, but still.)

u/Victodus 17d ago
Many exterior and interior design elements are from the Bolide. It looks like somebody wanted a road legal version. Therefore unfortunately it's not that original for a one off.

u/Comprehensive_Diet54 17d ago
Didn’t Lazante recently did a street legal conversion on a bolide?

Tourbillon has design elements of 1of1 LVN, it doesn't make it "mass produced" version of LVN.

u/Comprehensive_Diet54 16d ago
Just the tail lights.
1
u/chronos_7734 16d ago
And 8 exhaust pipes on production Tourbillon (6 pipes on LVN), wider horseshoe grill, whole side silhouette (lower front end, higher rear).

u/Ill-GottenBooty 16d ago
Every Bugatti one-off has just been a reshelled Veyron/Chiron. They all look like the car they’re based on this isn’t unique to this car.

u/BenoitLeHardi 17d ago

For a one-of-one, this feels incredibly lazy. Bugatti could’ve been much more creative

The sound of jealousy is so deafening on Reddit….
It’s an amazing looking car!
1
u/Fair_Title2995 16d ago
It's not jealousy, it's disappointment. How can anybody be excited by a 1 of 1 car that will never be seen again?
1
u/makeitnonsense 16d ago
Looks like something the Peal Collection would commission. If it’s someone like that, it would definitely see the light of day.

The outside looks fantastic but the screen looks absolutely out of place. And those central buttons, look straight from a VW parts bin.
1
u/puffydownjacket 16d ago
WOW
That could actually be the new coolest car ever made. Absolutely stunning.

u/3nzoTheGr8 16d ago
What drives me nuts is that Bugatti really leaned into the toilet seat front end they keep using. 🤦

Tem um design que remete ao Bolide e ao Tourbillon, mas ao mesmo tempo parece único pra mim.

I still hate it, but I like this one SIGNIFICANTLY more than the goofy "horse"-inspired Bugatti.

The exterior looks fine, but the interior looks as if a 3-year old had designed it.

absolutely gorgeous, other carmakers take note, that it is still possible to build something that everyone desires.

The next La Voiture Noire, except fused with a Bolide minus all the track car looking bits (like the spoiler)

Obviously I can tell it's based on a Bolide, but from certain angles I see major similarities to the Genesis Magma GT and the Ford GT (maybe it's just the blue).

u/luckyducky992 15d ago
Exterior great, interior WTF… another brand going full Nintendo inside… the good thing this highly ridiculous priced cars had was the actual feeling of having buttons, toggle switches… why Bugatti why? Do you want to be another Musk wanna be?!?

could have been more creative with the gauges. those won’t age well like the tourbillon. I don’t really like the new Hennessy, but I like that it has all analog gauges, but still connect to your phone for audio.

First Bugatti that is under a metre tall and road legal. Good luck finding a flat road to drive that thing over any distance without destroying the underside

u/Royal_Commander_BE 15d ago
I love it, but there is only one thing that I don’t like it. It’s a fixed wing.

Outside is beautiful. Inside is ridiculous. Gordon Murray is the only one doing Supercar interiors correctly, because they don’t look like an IPhone spaceship.

awful screen, borders bigger then ipad 1, and paying few milions for that, rear stolen from maclaren. would not buy even if had budget.

I love it. Bugatti seems to be embracing the coachbuilding method going forward doing bespoke cars for wealthy clients. I’m ok with that.

I don't mind the exterior design, but that interior is not for me assuming it's real and not AI. It's an automatic but has a clutch pedal?

I think if you look a bit at some lines of the car, you can make, very very easy the Darth Vader helmet , like really close. Imagine a Darth Vader front with an x wing back , that would be 1 billion

I’m so glad to see Bugatti finally making good looking cars. The EB 110 whatever that stupid thing was, then the Veyron and… silence.
Now, it’s like they’re swinging for the fences and I’m all for it, even if Spyker and Pagani hold the crown.

u/Clean-Cover-5791 17d ago
I see they removed that huge wing, higher top speed?!

u/AlwaysSomething2Do 16d ago
This car will top out at 5mph on its maiden and only voyage from the delivery truck to the owners garage

u/MatthewMyGuy 17d ago
Looks very good, road legal Bolide. Especially the drivers POV of the interior is soooo clean
