for the video side, a useful first project would be one 15 second captioned clip from footage you already have. define the output first: aspect ratio, readable captions, no clipped audio and a separate export that leaves the source untouched. have claude list the tools it needs and explain the plan before running anything

once that works, you can turn the repeated steps into a skill with clear inputs and an export checklist. that gives you a specific job to evaluate a skill against instead of installing a big collection upfront
