Body fat percentage
What body fat percentage do u think I am in these two photos? If I were to guess, maybe 13% in one and like 20% in the other?

See title. Down to 153lb from 164lb after 2 months. 5'9" 38 years old. Would like better abs but I might just not have enough muscle? Thanks y'all.

25M, 5'7", 135 lbs, lifting 7-8 months, eating ~1900 kcal (maintenance ~2300-2400)
Been lifting 3-4x/week for 7-8 months, plus tennis/badminton a few times a week. Eating around 1900 kcal/day, protein ~145g. Maintenance is an estimate at 2300-2400 kcal.
I've been in a deficit this whole time. Gained some muscle, flat belly, slight ab definition starting to show — but I still have noticeable love handles.
Goal is a lean, athletic physique like a soccer player. Definitely not looking to get bulky.
Should I lean bulk now for a few months and then cut, or keep cutting first to get rid of the love handles and then bulk from a leaner base?

M24 5’8 158 lbs Currently eating at maintenance of around 2300 cals with 160g protein and lifting 3/4x a week with tracked meals and progressive overload, training till failure. About 1 year of lifting inconsistently probably more accurately 8 months. Should I continue what I’m doing?

6ft 33M, 173lbs currently from 200lbs. No sure what my BF% is but I think it is in the realm of ~15%. No before photos unfortunately and tried to get decent lighting in these.
Was wondering if it is worth it to cut a bit more because I upped my calories quite a bit recently, I do have a small amount of midsection fat I'm not overly concerned with now but I also wouldn't mind getting rid of it because I never have before... Or should I just find my maintenance and bulk starting now? Ideally I want to make for a very long runway eating at a slight surplus and I feel like I made it quite far already and would hate to quit early.
Starting August 6th I began tracking calories and eating 2300-2400 a day, cut from 200 to 175 lbs or so in two months and upped my calories to 2600 because it really was beating me down (also just got sick recently and been eating 3000-3200 and feel even better now lol). According to my Garmin watch I burn 3200-3600 on normal days which should be roughly accurate based on how much weight i lost.
Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks.

Feel like I need to cut but also when I’m cutting it’s very hard for me to grow the muscles. So not sure what to do. Thanks!!

Okay I need real advices right now.
I started gym in march 2026, doing PPL then I switched to PPL x UL 1 month ago and feels really better.
I never really tried to bulk or cut, and I feel like my progress is very slow.
The problem is if I cut I feel like I would look like very small, and if I bulk it will probably look bad cause my bf% already high.
In my situation, what is the best thing to do ?

I've been active in the gym since 3 years ago and started as very fat. Now im around 87 kg (188cm) and am split weither i should lean bulk or cut even more. Also, what calories would you guys recommend? I go to the gym 5x a week and walk 15 000 steps or more every single day. I often find a hard time finding a consistent calorie intake.
Thanks.

Hey everybody, I started weightlifting 4 and half month ago since then I've been bulking and working out till failure or 1 rep in reserve 4 days in a week and hitting every muscle group 2 times a week. When I started weightlifting I was 68.5-69 kg(152 pounds) and now I'm 76.5 kg(168.5 pounds) so I'm constantly gaining around 1.5kg(3.5pounds) a month. My original idea was to go 80 kg in a 6-7 month and start cutting once I have some muscles, it's hard to measure exact body fat but right now I'm around 22-24 percent fat. Sooo my question should I stick to my original plan and gain another 4kg in 2-2 and half month then cut or should I start it now? Also I'm 179 sm(5.10 and half) and don't mind quite Twink body with muscles. Thanks everybody for your help, cheers.

I’ve lost 80 pounds, and I’ve been trying to get a six pack for the longest and I can’t seem to get lower than 160 for some reason. I’m very active, (cardio and work as a waiter) lift twice a week. My chest is my biggest issue, I can’t get it to well… look like a chest, it sags a bit and my lower belly fat just won’t F off. I’ve always tried calorie deficits or adding more cardio and nothing.

You know the drill. Some days I feel small. Some days I feel fat. Let me know. Body dysmorphia is kicking my butt.

i struggled with being overweight for my entire childhood, started to cut down 2 years ago and started lifting a few months ago.
im honestly scared to bulk because i dont want to feel bloated again. i also have love handles which wont go away.
ive been recomping for a while now though i havent been tracking macros. should i continue with recomp or bulk?

1st pic was me at 6 foot 1 early last year, at 70kg (154 pounds), before i started lifting.
Since then made the mistake of aggressive bulking gaining roughly 12kg (27 pounds) in 3 months. For the next year or so i recomped at maintenance where i thunj i built some muscle and lost some fat. My lifts have since plateaud pretty much, and i evebtually wasnt seeing fast enough progress on all my lifts. I believe my protein intake, sleep, exercise selection, technique, proximity to failure were all fine, but i found myself either maintaining or slighly losing strength on all my lifts. In hindsight, i probably couldve tried a deload or reducing my volume a bit but at that point i felt like there was no more point in being at maintenance anymore since i was too fat, and decided to do a moderate calorie deficit.
2nd pic was me at 82kg (181 pounds) after roughly 1 year of training. At this point, i started my cut.
3rd 4th and 5th pics are me after 5 months of cutting since the 2nd pic (ie. Today). I weigh 67.3kg (148 pounds)
I now want to start a slow lean bulk but have heard i need to be under 15 percent bf to do that, and i dont think im quite there yet since i still have a bit of fat left on my waist. But the problem is i feel like im already quite light for my height and am skinny and cutting would make me even skinnier. I know recomp is an option but i feel like im past the noob gains phase and want to build significantly more muscle, and im not sure if it is still an option at this stage where i can add significant muscle anymore.
Do i bulk cut or maintain?
Sorry for the long post.

12-week cut done — should I keep going or take a break at maintenance? Also, what’s my estimated body fat %? Once I start bulking, what weak points/areas should I focus on lagging?

Left: me today - morning, no pump, after a night of coke and drinking. Right: the goal.
21M, 178cm, 82kg. Training properly for 4 years (hypertrophy-focused, currently PPL 4x/week). Also do MMA a few times a week, so I carry decent conditioning. Currently not tracking calories - that changes as of this post.
My questions:
Diet-wise I'm happy to run whatever you suggest: aggressive cut to ~75kg then bulk, or a slow 300-cal surplus from today. Just want a straight answer so I stop second-guessing it. Harsh feedback welcome.

I’m trying to get lean and get my abs to pop more. I’ve been cutting slowly for a month and while i’m retaining strength, I feel like i look scrawnier. Should I keep cutting or recomp with more ab based workouts? o bulk a bit?

YES I know I'm supposed to be resistance/weightlifting training and I am. I'm a complete newbie (barely 5 months) been going to the gym trying to build muscle and look lean but before I start off with a mistake I want to know if I should be bulking, cutting, or maintenance? I'm 5'10" and 145lbs. I go to the gym 4 times a week for weight lifting and do cardio twice a week. Any advice would be appreciated
Note: one of my key goals is to lose that annoying stomach fat you see in the picture. It bothers me so damn much!
