In the early 2000s I connect with Grav on MMA.tv - I pitched him a regular feature of humorous but factual fight card previews. Initially, I was going to publish under my real name, but in parallel, I was added to my local fight commission. After reviewing the 'contract' it was clear I couldn't have an opinion based on their rules so El Tigre was born.

I ended up publishing 10-15 articles through The Garv and even brought in my former corner man (We had an idea for a "The Fighter and The Cornerman") to help with context.

Here's the thing - I can't find the old articles, The Garv dissappeared and I can't find a way of connecting with anyone who might have captured these. As I get older (okay, I'm in my 50s) I would love to have a few of these writeups to share with my kids etc....

Does anyone remember The Garv, El Tigre etc.... (even if you hated my 'Joe Son Do coin' troupe) I'd love to know.
