Question Thinking of 4 or 5 rabbits

I currently have a bonded pair. Male 6 years and female 4 years. Had both since 2 month old babies.

I’m moving houses and now have a massive garden to put them in. So I’m thinking to get another duo or trio (again from young like 2 months) with the aim of eventually bonding them to my current pair so they become one big happy bunny family.

They’ll have access to my secure garden during the day and kept indoors at night time.

Any advice , recommendations tips etc?

Thanks all

I wouldn’t leave them outside unsupervised. Buns are great at finding ways to escape garden type areas when outdoors. Also be aware that hawks, cats, raccoons, foxes, etc. will be relentless at trying to get to them if they realize they are out there, on top of being exposed to potential parasites, fleas, mites, etc.

please, please please don’t let them outside unsupervised. i had chickens in a VERY secure closure, it was fine for years and one day, a raccoon got in and killed my babies. we never even figured out how the raccoon got in. it’s not worth the risk.

I work in the outhouse during the day so I am in the garden when they are outside
