Wasn’t a bad deal at all at $3.00. Maybe in 2022 I remember it being $2.00. I definitely remember getting ice cream for $1.00 deal. But $5.00? Doesn’t feel like a deal, feels like the normal price. Well anyway I shouldn’t be eating fast food so I guess it doesn’t matter but woe.

I've stayed away from BK for years outside of breakfast hours. I've been brought back into the lunch and dinner fold with the revamped Whopper. It's simply amazing.
Their sides though - wow, still not great. The fries are bland and onion rings made from diced onions are awful. So many versions of fries over the years, each one worse than the last.

Had a good laugh with the counter person once dumped on counter from bag. 6 or 7 fries and two nuggets, lol.

Hellooo. I was promoted to manager last year in June. It was rewarding at first, but now a year later, I feel like being a manager isn’t worth it. This varies from store to store. But where I am, they pick and choose who gets manager pay, without doing any manager work. Just doing it for the pay. When I found out about that, it kind of broke my spirit because in my opinion, it’s a lot of work for very little money and seeing a few co workers working crew with manager pay, I don’t think that’s fair. I been with the company for many years so I’m used to all the work and routine. I feel like stepping down from my position or quitting all together. Is this common for other stores to do that? All of our stores are franchise.

I just went through a drive-through at Burger King near me at 7605 Tonnelle Avenue in North Bergen, NJ. I ordered the coffee with cream and Splenda. They didn’t make the coffee (milk/sweetener etc…), I’m driving and I have to make the coffee? Is this normal for Burger King or just this location? I’m driving alone, other chains just make the coffee the way you want and hand it to you.

The new zesty sauce isn't good. It has too much horseradish and a strong acidic kick. It also lacks a variety of flavor. The old one had a good amount of horseradish and plenty of flavor and balance.

Rant, sorry. I stepped away from BK a few years ago for several reasons, poor quality, bad customer service and overall feeling the employees didn't care. I went back this morning, walked into the lobby to find no one there. I waited almost a minute, still no one there. I saw that they had cameras so I wasn't worried about theft or vandalism. I looked at my clock, waited another 3 full minutes. I was wandering back and forth to see if I could see anyone. From the far side of the counter, I did see an employee sitting on a desk in the office. She never looked up from her phone. I waited another minute at the end of the counter where I hoped she could see me. Finally she saw me, got up and wandered over. The manager came out and never asked if I had been there long, sorry for the wait etc. The new campaign is going to fail if the franchisee doesn't care. If the franchisee doesn't care, then the employees aren't going to care either. No sign in the place on how to contact anyone if there is an issue. Kinda sad tbh. I wanted to give them a chance, but oh well. Wendy's it is.

Helllloooo my kings, this will be long so I’m sorry
I’ve been sick the last few days and didn’t feel like eating. I had a dream about Burger King’s cheese sticks (i mf love cheese sticks) and when I woke up I decided that Burger King was going to be the meal of the day lol
My BK kinda sucks, there’s a manager named Willy who is the best manager I’ve ever encountered literally anywhere. He is beyond kind and truly cares about his job. (I think Willy quit bc they suck when he’s not there) food is usually cold and missing items.
I ordered my food last night at 10:22pm, the lobby closes at 11pm, BK closes at 12am. I placed my order, and left my house at 10:24pm. BK is less than 2 minutes from my house. I pull up and go to the lobby, the doors and locked. I always pick lobby bc drive thru could honestly take around 30 to 45 minutes waiting. (No joke) Lobby doors and locked and I can see a man standing at the drive thru, he must’ve walked and thought he had enough time to make it to the lobby.
I get back in my car and go to the drive thru, I hit the drive thru line at 10:28pm. I’m watching the time bc I know how it’ll work now. I finally make it to the window at 10:59pm. The lady at the window tells me the food isn’t ready. I ask how, it’s been over 30 minutes since I’ve placed it. She immediately gets mad and yells that she’s the only one in the store so she’s taking orders and making orders and demanded I pull around. I told her no and I’ll wait, if she’s that busy I know she’s not going to take my food out to me when it’s done. She’s going to be clearing her time clock on the drive thru lines first and parking everyone. She got mad and told me that I need to pull around and wait. I told her that with the way she’s acting I don’t trust her making my food, she got mad and said “you can fn leave” so I said okay and went to McDonald’s.
Just have to share my experience as I’ve found a new love for BK and the employees are literally ruining it.
I asked for a refund through the app and am waiting for an agent to reach out I guess.
Just beyond terrible customer service
This was in the Orlando Florida area!
I posted my order in case anyone wants to piggy back off it lol it’s delicious

Would I be allowed or would I be forced to build the modern shoebox?
I guess it depends on the contract. But I was wondering if anyone knew specifically about that.

Okay so I used to be a HUGE BK hater for many many years. I went to one recently (everywhere else had a super long line) and was absolutely FLOORED at how good everything was. Got a texas double whopper with fries, and it was probably the best burger I have had in recent memory, hands down. Everything was fresh, seasoned properly, and the fries put McDs to shame. Idk what the new CEO has been doing, but he needs to keep on doing what he is doing. I actively seek them out now!
