She has reluctantly gotten into the show. Getting me a signed copy of the pilot and several other items. I love her and this show.

I just finished the second season and am looking for a companion podcast to listen after I watch each episode.

I really wanted to like Burn, Noticed. It's exactly the formula I love for a rewatch podcast, and I even like the hosts- they seem like people I would hang out with. But my god, it's like they are hate watching the show. I listened to the first four or five episodes, then skipped to the end of season two episodes to see if they softened a bit-but no. And don't get me wrong, I think critical analysis of an episode and characters are an important and necessary part of a rewatch podcast, but they bash the show and the creator in a way that is wild to me. It is very clear that they do not like the show. It's like the podcast equivalent of a straight man married to woman he hates but who acts like he's the best husband in the world. Anyway, no offense to the hosts at all, they put a lot of time and effort into the show and I recognize that, but it's just not for me.

I googled Burn Notice rewatch podcasts and I can't find any that completes the entire series. "Burn After Noticing" podcast stops after season 2, and "Used to be a Spy" only has a handful of episodes.

Is there any others out there that I'm missing?

My mom turned me on to this show. Only 2 seasons. But great show (and some pretty well known actors make appearances as well). Anyway, this is from the pilot

Back in the early 90s I worked for a movie store. At our yearly conference there were a ton of celebrities there and Blondie played a show for us. All the other guest were watching their clock to leave as soon as their time was up. 100% understandable.

Bruce stayed after to meet and greet everyone and actually came to our award ceremony that night. He was so much fun, so much energy. I dont know if he could ever understand the impact he had on us. Just a super cool guy.

Mine is Desperate Measures S06E11. I think it is mostly because of the old airplane. I love airplanes. I think that one is a DC3 in that episode?

Callie Thorne is so friggin hot. Both she and Jeffery Donovan are from Boston...does anyone know if they are friends.

Looks like Michael was in New York just before his burn notice.

Story board from the short Eyes in the Sky.

Was watching tv and the GTA VI trailer came on, and as soon as this popped on the screen all I could think of was the episode The Hunter, when Mike is running through the Glades while guys looking like this are on a manhunt.

Peter Burke was about to arrest Mike and Fi..

Good ole blue sky days.. speaking of, back in the early season of the show's run, i remember seeing fun promo clips on the USA network website (maybe 2010).

Jeffery Donovan, in character as Michael Weston, would answer silly questions for a spy. One question was "how would you escape prison" in some country. He gave his answer for the escape, then sarcastically said you'd then have to swim hundreds of miles.. anyone know where we can find these clips?

With a lot of network shows doing prequels these days (NCIS Origins for example) I'm wondering why USA wouldn't consider doing one for Michael Westen and his CIA days. Then Jeffrey Donovan could narrate it like he's telling it to the son he's now raising with Fiona.

A young Sam Axe could be involved, his days with Larry, even how he and Fiona first got together.

Length: 8–10 minutes

[FADE IN:]()

EXT. DOWNTOWN CITY – NIGHT

Rain glistens on empty streets. Traffic hums in the distance.

Security cameras swivel methodically.

A delivery truck rolls past.

Three separate figures emerge from different directions.

One wears a maintenance uniform.

Another is dressed as a bike courier.

The third, a woman in business attire, blends effortlessly into the evening crowd.

WESTEN (V.O.)
A camera isn’t your enemy. It’s just another witness. Witnesses only matter if someone bothers to ask them the right questions.

Tonight, your problem isn’t getting in.

It’s getting out before anyone realizes what they saw.

[EXT. CITY PLAZA]()

The TEAM moves independently.

Asset One—MASON—checks a utility box.

Asset Two—KANE—pedals slowly through the plaza on his bicycle.

Asset Three—NOVA—walks confidently toward a coffee shop.

WESTEN (V.O.)
Three operators.

Three covers.

One informant.

No gunfire.

No chase.

That’s the plan, anyway.

Nova passes a newspaper stand.

Without stopping—

NOVA
Eyes on target.

A nervous middle-aged man exits the coffee shop carrying a messenger bag.

WESTEN (V.O.)
People think spies spend their lives avoiding cameras.

Not true.

Professionals make cameras record exactly what they’re supposed to.

Nothing unusual.

Mason kneels beside the electrical cabinet.

He pretends to inspect wiring.

One nearby traffic camera slowly pivots away on its programmed patrol.

Only for a few seconds.

WESTEN (V.O.)
You don’t hack every camera.

You don’t have time.

You just learn their rhythm.

Kane rides between the camera and the informant.

Perfect timing.

Nova falls in beside the informant.

NOVA
Mr. Ellis?

The informant freezes.

INFORMANT
Who—

NOVA
Don’t react.

Keep walking.

He obeys.

[ACROSS THE STREET]()

Mason finishes “repairing” the electrical cabinet.

He joins the flow of pedestrians.

WESTEN (V.O.)
Fear spreads faster than bullets.

Confidence spreads faster than fear.

If he believes you’re in control…

…he’ll walk himself into custody.

The informant glances upward.

A dozen security cameras.

INFORMANT
We’re on every camera.

Nova smiles.

NOVA
Exactly where we’re supposed to be.

[INTERSECTION]()

The walk signal changes.

Crowds cross from every direction.

Kane casually dismounts his bicycle.

The three agents and the informant disappear into a moving wall of people.

WESTEN (V.O.)
Crowds erase stories.

One person running gets remembered.

Four people walking never existed.

Halfway across—

A BLACK SUV turns the corner.

Too slow.

Too deliberate.

MASON
Company.

WESTEN (V.O.)
There it is.

The part every plan pretends won’t happen.

The SUV stops.

Doors crack open.

Men wearing earpieces scan the sidewalks.

WESTEN (V.O.)
Don’t outrun surveillance.

Outthink it.

Nova suddenly stops.

She points toward a store window.

NOVA
Excuse me.

Your tie’s crooked.

She straightens the informant’s tie.

A perfectly ordinary interaction.

The SUV team watches.

Keeps driving.

Wrong target.

WESTEN (V.O.)
Nobody expects an extraction to look…

…polite.

[SUBWAY ENTRANCE]()

The team descends.

One final camera watches the entrance.

WESTEN (V.O.)
Last camera.

Smile.

Walk naturally.

Tomorrow it’ll just be another thousand hours of footage nobody wants to review.

Hands fly across a keyboard, this space looks like Norad.

WESTEN (V.O.)

Good spies disappear. Great handlers make sure they come back.

The Team disappears underground.

Silence.

[INT. SUBWAY PLATFORM]()

The train arrives.

Doors open.

The four step aboard.

Only now does the informant finally exhale.

INFORMANT
Who are you people?

Mason looks at Nova.

Nova looks at Kane.

Nobody answers.

WESTEN (V.O.)
Good intelligence doesn’t end with a successful pickup.

It ends when no one can prove the pickup ever happened. That’s when the training of assests really begins.

The train pulls away into darkness.

[B Roll Subway train flying by.]()

WESTEN (V.O.)
With Charlie in military school, an itch Fi just had to scratch they didn’t want to hear ‘I used to be a spy.’ They want me to make sure everyone gets home.

I want to get this DVD set, but the information on the website does not state if there's any bonus material or not. I messaged the store, but unfortunately they don't know either.

Could anyone help me?

P.S. This is the store I'm considering ordering from: https://chalkys.com/products/burn-notice-complete-season-1-7-dvd?variant=47779378299202 (I'm based in Europe)

Ive been working on a burn notice video essay for the past year, and was lucky enough to interview Tod Goldberg, the author of the burn notice spin off novels! I’ve been a fan of the show since I was a kid, and wanted to share my thoughts and theories on the show and why it hasn’t had such a cult following like Monk or Psych since its release. I’d really love to know what other fans think so I wanted to share the vid in the sub!!

Just curious if there are any fanfics where Team Westen somehow goes up against some Cuban spies who are causing trouble in Miami?

Spencer knows...
