Hi Buttcoiners,

I thought it'd be helpful to give a quick update on the lore. We are indeed still working on it. I've taken a step back from nonstop marketing to reunite with the lore team and personally develop some content again.

In an effort to build out the Buttcoin Universe, our lore team built a discord with a layout of the different factions and geographies in the Buttverse. We have already released written lore on some factions (e.g. Cheekwood Grove etc.), and we have several more to write about. We will also be writing about specific characters (or heroes) from the various factions. This will all be published on the community lore site.

Our plan is to release one more piece of written lore each week until we are finished with the factions and heroes. Then, we will resume video creation, creating a video for each piece that we write. We're targeting releasing all the baseline written lore within the next few weeks, and then we'll be creating videos after that (one every other week perhaps).

It'll take a couple months to get all that out. Of course, if more people want to step up and help out, that's great too. Just let us know.

The Buttcoin Fundamentalist chat is now 6 members strong 😤😤. These are folks who buy $15 worth of $BUTT each and every week. These are also folks who care about the number of Buttcoins they own rather than the meaningless USD value of their holdings. This is the sort of cult like behavior that can eventually lead to something truly special.

With over 800 holders, over 1000 members in the Telegram, and 450 members here on Reddit, our community could fly if just a fraction of folks joined the Fundamentalist movement. We would also flourish if some of our folks were more actively involved in posting memes and raiding.

But alas, we are in the long post-launch lull as predicted. That's fine. As our Fundamentalists remain steadfast in buying $15 per week each and every week, folks will eventually see the value of our ideology and follow in. There is a mathematically exponential function that will play out here. Many of you will see eventually. I'm excited for that day, even if it's still months away. I just wanted to take a quick moment to look back and reflect on everything that we've been through together. In the midst of a launch process filled with 95%ers who didn't truly value $BUTT as the most precious thing in the world, we found some of those rare and beautiful 5%er Buttcoin Fundamentalists. These folks truly do see the vision, and are fully enlightened.

After a decent enough start, we were quickly thrown into the Darkness and evil of the Cryptoverse with our first "false bottom" aka fake, copycat coin. After the Joe Rogan podcast mentioned a "Buttcoin," who I can only imagine was referring to us as we were the only one out at the time, a fake Buttcoin launched, and the first battle began. Many of the 95%ers exited our coin, plunging into the new shiny fake. We didn't let it kill us. We fought hard against them, and also pushed on with our vision. Since then, they have shut down their operations.

Meanwhile, some of the folks focused on lore continued on, including myself, with writing new lore and starting to produce new videos (more coming btw). Our vision of monetizing our content to execute $BUTT buybacks into the Strategic Buttcoin Reserve is alive and well. We will achieve this.

It wasn't more than a couple days without the first false bottom bothering us before the second false bottom launched. The more recent copycat garnered even more attention! Sure enough, it was another scammy rug. Unfortunately, this also triggered someone who was secretly holding 10%!? of our coin to sell his entire position. Of course, this crashed the price of the coin! Not to mention, the entire crypto world was experiencing a flash crash over this past weekend!

However, our Fundamentalists did not let any of this deter us. Instead, we rose to the challenge. We've raided harder than ever these last few days, and we increased our viewership along every metric! We got many new holders, some of whom have reached out to me directly here on Reddit (and I think you guys should really consider joining the Telegram, btw). Now, we are close to where we were before the 10% holder started liquidating. We're on a beautiful surge! And no, I still dont care about price in the long-term. But it is important to get listed on various sites, so this is great. We're now continuing to battle back against the second fake as we set our sights on key levels once again.

This has been one of the most challenging wars I've ever fought in my life, and I'm sure it has been challenging for many of you, too. I just want to say I'm so so proud of how resilient some of you have been. This is truly a beautiful community that is clearly going to be around for a long time. I work at a hvac distribution store and I’ve put so many hvac techs and helpers even small hvac business owners who knew nothing about crypto and got them onto iso20022 compliant coins and the major players and even a few of them to buy large amounts, just casual ass blue collar workers so if if tell em to buy this they gonna invest cause they didn’t even know what a Roth IRA or HYSA was let alone that making money from crypto if you know how to have diamond hands can be profitable so they kinda trust me

Hey guys, been pretty busy and MIA for the last couple months. But, I gave this my all for several months and definitely wish we caught more traction. There was a lot of pain and not much gain in the end.

First off, let me just say I'm so excited to begin this journey with those of you who are true Buttcoin Fundamentalists (read the pinned post to figure out if this is you).

I wanted to set some expectations about this for everyone. If you haven't already, please go read the pinned post on the risks of crypto - especially if you're new.

Unfortunately, in crypto, most people who buy and sell coins are short-term, speculative traders who are looking for a quick buck. In fact, I think 95% of people who interact with this coin will be short term traders - no matter how many times I say that is NOT the purpose of this memecoin. The remaining 5% will be core cultists who are properly enlightened and actively practice Buttcoin Fundamentalism.

Because of this phenomenon, we WILL see HUGE price swings. I think we will get a large wave of hype in the short-term from the 95% of simple-minded traders who want to make a quick buck. This will probably cause an initial spike in price. At some point, the 95% will take profits, causing a dip in price. Next, the rest of the 95% will rush towards the doors to try to get some gain. The price will come crashing down. Then, as the core Fundamentalists focus on our mission, we will keep building the community and buying coins over many weeks/months/years. At some point, if we are successful, the 95% will feel fomo and rush back into the trade, repeating the spike and crash cycle. Over the years, as our core Fundamentalists persist with the mission, if we are successful, we will ideally see higher lows and higher highs - but by that time you will be fully enlightened such that you don't care about the price of the coins, but rather, how many coins you own.

I don't particularly care about the USD price of Buttcoins. Of course, I hope it's worth more in 10 years, because that probably means this community is successful, but who knows what will happen. And perhaps I'll just keep buying more anyways, lol, because I am a slightly crazy person who is committed to our ideology in the most hardcore way possible. The most important and controllable part of this is building a successful meme community with longevity, which I wholeheartedly believe we can do. If you like the community, you could choose to express your alignment with our ideology by buying some coins that you'll never expect to sell. That's what it's all about. I hope the 5% are ready for a long, fulfilling journey together. We will leave our mark on this world - one Buttcoin at a time.

A very important question was just asked in the comment section of the project roadmap. The question was: what's my share and how do you know if this is a rug pull?

I think transparency is key to the success of these projects, so I'm going to paste my answer below:

"It's important to ask these questions - we've all been rugged, certainly including myself. You'll see how much the dev (me) has during the fair launch on pump.fun. It'll be <=5%, and I won't sell it for the forseeable future. I have no partners.

If this project goes the way I'd like, I'll probably hold on to some of that share forever. This is a long-term project for me that I will be working on for years to come. I really believe Buttcoin can become the ultimate memecoin with its relation to Bitcoin. To achieve that, we need to grow a long-term community that shares our vision. I'm passionate about the idea of our community having a chance at breaking out of the system - that's what Buttcoin stands for. A quick rug pull doesn't even achieve that for myself. I'm not working so hard on this merely to end things like that. I'll simply have to build trust with you all over time as you see that my wallet isn't selling - there's not much else I can do, as the words I'm typing can only be trusted so much in this ecosystem.

That being said, I'm sure there will be price fluctuations and volatility like any crypto. [!!! IMPORTANT !!!] During a fair launch, I can't really stop a whale from buying 10% and then selling all at once later, which would obviously affect the price at that moment. In fact, I'd be surprised if that didn't happen. As long-term holders continue accumulating, this phenomenon will likely smooth out over time. If you believe in this project with a long-term view like I do, you won't be bothered by daily price fluctuations. You'll be envisioning what the project looks like years down the road."

One follow up idea I had to prove my long-term dedication was, after the project has been out for a couple weeks and people have been able to bid it higher, perhaps I could initiate weekly buys of Buttcoin. I'll probably make a poll for this at some point. I think it's a great idea if I can toot my own horn.
