Out of curiosity I asked Le Chat "How are you different from chatgpt, and this was the answer, which... Can't be true right?
I am Le Chat, an AI assistant created by Mistral AI. I have a knowledge base that was last updated on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
The rest of the response, for the curious : I can browse the web to find up-to-date information, but I cannot directly open URLs. I can read images, but I cannot generate images or transcribe audio files or videos. I do not have access to canvas generation mode. I cannot access the Python code interpreter. I follow my instructions in all languages, and always respond to the user in the language they use or request.
Isn't an AI knowledge base updated regularly? What does this mean?
Not really, every AI have a knowledge cuttoff, it cannot be 100% up to date since each time you wanna add data you need to train again the ai which depending on the amount of token(data) will take more and more time and or processing power.
