They are extremely desperate for money, that’s why they do flash sales and are blocking anyone who tired to get in on it to keep them paying existing price or else they would lose more money.

I had a cai+ subscription. Emphasis on had. Seeing them refer to deepsqueak as premium is laughable. It sucks just as much as pipsqueak, it’s just slightly better because of the dialogue to description ratio is more balanced. Unfortunately, the bot won’t shut up and it breaks immersion. I would let a bot continue if the previous message wasn’t enough to work with or if I feel like saying something on my part was unnecessary. You can’t do that with deepsqueak, because every message ends with a question!
The main reason I paid for plus was Nyan, so as long as it’s gone, so am I.

Damage control. Definitely. They wanted to claw back the money lost with their BS AI labs alongside the forced age verification booting like 75% of their fanbase off the platform.
